We have gone to Blue Dolphin for 3 continuous years. It always has been quite peaceful but this year…chaos. So many kids, so noisy, kids on scooters in the dark with no helmets or lighting, no parental supervision, kids running through sites and then some schoolies arrived. Noisy people every night partying until 11.30. We went to the heated pool but it was full of kids and parents drinking, moved to the ‘mature people’ area but it was full of little kids too. Lack of maintenance around park, it is a great park for kids but if you seek some peace and quiet in a safe spot this isn’t it. Such a shame we couldn’t book for next year but just didn’t enjoy this trip.

This park does not allow for unforeseen circumstances and do not give refunds when notified you can’t get there. Staff not fully trained in policies either Definitely no compassion! So if you’re car is going to break down make sure you give 7 days notice!

Stayed here for 2 nights…and NEVER AGAIN! Upon our arrival we received the standard paperwork stating the terms and conditions PLUS AN A4 sheet advising guests to use a wheel clamp, video and photograph your valuables! The first night, a ladies car was broken in and the second night TWO cars were stolen in separate areas of the park. Yet this park leaves the boom gate open and has no lighting or any cameras. Apparently, in previous car thief they rammed the gate…..so now it’s just left open! Reception staff were good but seriously this park is really bad…very sad and scary.

This is a dirty poorly lit park with good facilities Unclean amenities and the highest priced park from over 30 on our trip Staff were fine but way overpriced and really dirty facilities Just do not go there !!

So it’s a total shame that I have to write this as this park has so much to offer. No lighting in our part of the park. On arrival we were told there had been a problem with theft so lock everything up. Ok. But when it became night I didn’t understand why the lighting was no were in site. Walking from our caravan to the amenities was 200 steps and from the camp kitchen double that. Some of our group told reception about this and response was well we have never had it. My response is I shouldn’t feel wary to go to the bathroom without waking up my husband at night. Needs to be fixed blue dolphin not good enough.

This would have to be one of the best caravan/cabin parks we have stayed in. The location on the river is so peaceful and beautiful. There is a private jetty and there are kayaks, SUPs and boats available for hire. We weren't here with children but this is a destination in itself if you have children/teenagers with you. Several pools, games rooms, climbing wall room, kids club, swim up bar, jumping pillow, playgrounds etc etc. We stayed in a 1 bedroom villa and it was spotlessly clean and included a full sized fridge and dishwasher. BBQ was close by and parking was outside the door. Definitely the caravan park to pick if going to Yamba.

We had a powered site for our caravan near the water. Roomy site & help to park our van. Lots to offer at this resort including heated pool and swim up bar. Clean amenities, & great grounds. Bar and cocktails available with happy hour discounts. Great spot to see the sites with great staff

Been here quite a few times over the last 10 yrs with the kids, now the kids have grown we thought we come for a holiday with friends in off peak season.The fist few days was great until we 2 lots of campers behind us roll in which was fine until the smoking of cigarettes started, nothing worse than having to sit outside and all you can smell is cigarette smoke, this should be banned in all holiday parks.We also didn’t know dogs were allowed, we love dogs but not been woken up every hour with dogs barking and dog crap on our friends site one morning. If Holiday parks allow smoking and dogs at least have an area for campers who don’t smoke or have dogs to be able to camp.On the positive side food here is amazing!! We ate dinner here most nights and drank our way though the cocktail list, it’s a great location, fun for the kids. But sadly we won’t be back, time to camping off grid.…

My partner and I stayed the May long weekend and the overall experience was a let down.Firstly of tent site was right next to the Main road into town but this was the least of our worries.Camped behind us was some awful people in swags who rocked up drunk and disorderly on both nights past 11.00pm.The 2nd night they were yelling out and banging things at 2.00 in the morning.I had to take it upon myself to tell them to be quiet.There we’re no security around to stop them which is really not good enough.This made for a stressful holiday and I would not return to Blue Dolphin Yamba again.Also the bathrooms were dirty and toilets not clean the overall cleanliness of the park was bad.So overall a disappointment

Couldn't recommend this place enough! Suitable for both adults and kids. Plenty to do for all ages. The most beautiful location on the Clarence River! The views were spectacular. The pool bar was the absolute highlight, we spent a lot of time there 😍🍹 The snooker hall was a lot of fun. We hired kayaks and stand up paddle boards which was a fun experience. We got an ensuite with our camp site and the cleanliness was great. Staff were so friendly and fun which made the experience even better. Gary made the best cocktails and was a really cool dude, hats off to him for his service. Thanks for an amazing experience! We will 100% be back, this has got to be my favourite location for camping so far.
