Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We ordered beer and coffee and the wait was so long we ended up leaving. The management is totally inept at delivering service. If you are thinking of going there for a drink, forget it. This not the first time we hve noticed this and nothing has improved, from time to time new bar staff appear but it seems the have been given on training in how to serve patrons. On our most recent visit the bar attendant was off doing other duties while we were waiting for our order to be fulfilled.

The bathroom leaked, from the ceiling going through to the carpet. The room smelled damp. I mentioned this on my previous visit but obviously nothing was done. The noise from another large group right outside my glass door was horrendous for two nights, the second night it did not stop until 4am. Tried to ring reception, no one answered.

The hotel is simple but has the quiet atmosphere where one can enjoy some peace and quietness away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Every hotel room has its own balcony view overlooking the golf park or the parking lot. The room is clean. Staff are very friendly.

Excellent, friendly staff in every department. Both Karinya and Bar restaurants offer interesting dishes at reasonable prices. Pizza and pasta dishes served in the bar are great. Shout out to Jake for a good checkin experience and Thomas always gives super service in the restaurants.

The room itself was very clean, tidy and spacious. The staff were warm, friendly and helpful upon arrival. The bathroom was well appointed with all the usual products provided. Unfortunately though, the a/c was not functioning correctly so the room was actually quite cold.

Property was average value for money. $500 a night for a 2 bedroom room (was a weekend). Showers mouldy. One shower head doesn’t work, wifi doesn’t work in bedrooms, loose toilet seats. Sloppy rooms for the money. Communicated concerns to start on checkout, the receptionist didn’t seem to really care. Minimal choice of hotels in that area unfortunately. Classic Accor.

Except the service at reception everything else was badly presented and serviced Room was spartan and not spotless , just topped and tailed Bar was slow and amateurish diverting all questions back to the manager The restaurant, has no idea of guest service. Told fully booked by one person and yet half filled, luckily we’re persistent . But I regretted that. The wait staff were hopelessly terrible. No idea. Table incorrectly set, orders forgotten, plates arrive no cutlery , drink waiter walks around but doesn’t actually ask or replenish. Same as the wait staff. The food was excellent, so full marks to the chef The breakfast was the worst breakfast I have ever had and compared to a vending machine standard if that. No assistance, no refreshing, basically no idea of service or standards. This was a sad experience The room blinds failed to block out with a 30cm gap on all 3 bedroom windows. Again a dismal apology of “sorry” Stay elsewhere if you can, there are to many negative experiences here

Wife and I stayed two nights over November in a one bedroom apartment, have read some of the not so good reviews disappointing but our stay was very enjoyable and a welcome break. Our room overlooked the practice putting green and busy pro shop in the mornings, we had a great time, the room was clean, bathroom a good size, shower over the bath which can be difficult as one gets older and not as flexible, comfortable bed, sitting lounge good arm chairs, table and chairs for four if needed, stove, large fridge, etc. Staff from reception through to restaurant wait staff and bar were fantastic, friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our evening meals, wine selection and breakfast albeit the bacon not pleasing both days, but otherwise fine, also eggs as you like available. Plenty of close by your room parking (not undercover) gardens very nice, pro shop also very good if required offering 50% discount on winter clothing sale, we took advantage. Overall a very pleasant stay and will stay again next year, we will request the same room. Thank you management and team for a great stay..

A highly recommended location with high expectations of a wonderful and dreamy experience. The reality soon gushed over as the dream became a nightmare. From poor service, disinterested staff, poor room cleanliness and disappointing food. The nightmare kept coming to devour the last sense of enjoyment on our special weekend. Maybe just a one off, but can you take the chance? Disappointed.
