I was a little surprised with these reviews. Upon entering Jim Thorpe (a lovely quaint little town) for the first time, I wanted to check out some of the Bed-n-Breakfast places. I saw this place (The Rendon House), and walked up the stairs and rang the doorbell. I asked to see the place for consideration of staying here. The lady...

Stop comparing other B&B's and stay at the Rendon House! The best bed and breakfast in Jim Thorpe! I am writing this review for the traveler who is like me and wants to know their options and choose the right place for the right value. Location: This brick "Brownstone" style house is right in the heart of Jim Thorpe. It...

We had the pleasure of staying at The Rendon House this past weekend and it was fantastic! I usually prefer hotels over B&Bs, but I may have just been converted as we absolutely loved The Rendon House! Terry, was a wonderful host! Stop comparing the other places and book here!!! The B&B's central location meant we were within walking distance...

The Rendon House was the best choice my husband and I made over the weekend! While on a day trip to Jim Thorpe, we decided to stay overnight. The owner's daughter, Terry, was the most pleasant and accommodating hostess. She prepared for us a fabulous 3-course breakfast after we spent the night in one of the most beautifully appointed bedrooms...

My husband and I spent Labor Day weekend here and can't wait to come back. Our room and bed were extremely comfortable and so clean. Bathroom was like being in your own spotless home (or your home when you've just cleaned!). I loved it. And loved breakfast even more. Poached pears, frittatas, muffins, coffee, juice... We met some lovely couples...

We stayed on the third floor in the larger suite toward the back of the house. Very private and home-like. You can tell that the innkeeper takes pride in managing her inn. Everything was super clean, and the shampoo and soap was high quality. The home is amazing. All the detailed workings of the home are well-kept (stairs are sturdy,...

My wife and I spent a wonderful 3-day mid-week vacation in Jim Thorpe, PA in early August. The weather was perfect and so was Rendon House. The breakfasts were the best we've ever had, just superb. Pam, the innkeeper was a delight. Our room was spacious and quiet. The parlor downstairs was stocked with cold Yuenglings, which hit the spot...

Pam the owner was just great! She was such a joy to talk to and made our stay a excellent experience! The breakfasts were amazing,...

Wow! What an experience! We just got back from the Arts Weekend at Jim Thorpe PA. Owner Pam at the Rendon House made it a WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE! We had a private entrance, a gorgeous room with a new bathroom, antiques, a hand carved bed and loads of well-appointed rooms. For breakfast, Pam delighted us with poached pears drizzled with a...

Rendon House is in a perfect location for starters. Everything in the oldest section of Jim Thorpe is within easy walking distance. Owner/proprietor Pam was at our window the moment we arrived and showed us to our off street parking (which was a big plus in a cramped village like JT). Pam is a wealth of knowledge and more than...

“Front room with the four post bed is beautiful and has a super comfy bed and clean bathroom. It is on the front of the house and it's window's face Broadway St. It is light and airy, and keeps you in the excitement of the town. At night there are a lot of motorcycles that go by, so it bothered my husband a bit, but I didn't notice at all. They kind of disappear at some point. Each room has a private bath. There is a room on the same floor (the second floor) that has it's own hallway, and bathroom and is also nice and airy, and spacious, and has a bit more privacy, and I would say is a bit more quiet since it is on the side of the house and not up against the main st. Both are great rooms! I did not get a chance to see the third room.”

  • Tulips were everywhere! This was taken on the garden patio in the back yard. Gorgeous.
  • Gorgeous table settings with fine china!
