My husband and i stayed at this amazing retreat with beautiful surrounds log fire spa and no internet or phone reception. The owner was very helpful and friendly. Highly recommend here to get away from the rat race.
The little town of Wollombi is a real surprise and quite popular! We had a lovely time relaxing at Mystwood, the cabins are rustic and have everything you need. The lovely touches are home baked bread (it was delicious), wine in the fridge, carton of milk (not long life) and the bed was super comfortable. The cabin is clean and spotless, the utensils are plentiful. The breakfast pack and dinner bbq pack was beautiful and plenty of it. We loved the spa and the relaxing time we had at Mystwood. We would come back in a heartbeat. The beautiful brown dog who visited us every day and night made our day! The hosts are lovely and really make you feel welcome. Cannot recommend highly enough.
My wife & I have just had a 1 night stay at Mystwood Retreats that we thoroughly enjoyed. The cabins are great with everything you need for your stay, each of the 5 cabins have a log fire heater in the loungeroom with logs supplied & a hot tub / spa outside the back door. The kitchen was fully equipped with bacon, eggs, jams, milk & you are supplied with a loaf of bread that is baked on site. We did see a wombat not far from our cabin & there were a number of kangaroos on the other side of the fence. Mystwood Retreats is also a venue destination for functions which is in a bush setting. The stay there is so quiet & peaceful under a full sky of stars. Mystwood Retreats is only a 5 min drive to the historic Wollombi Village. We are definitely going to stay there again in the future.…
Mystwood Retreat does not disappoint! Cute little wooden cabins in amongst the bush. No reception and a private spa put back make it an amazing place to relax and unwind. The dirt road in is a bit bumpy but you are greeted with a picture perfect scene of trees, hills, and in the morning, a field of mist. We were provided with a brekky hamper of eggs, bacon and freshly baked bread and the owner Simon stopped to greet us quickly as he was in the middle of photographing a wedding. Simon and his wife Lieneka are just beautiful people, very friendly and welcoming. It was a shame we had to go home, but our short stay there was lovely.
