Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Was not impressed at all. Had an overnight stay and would not recommend!! We found a dead mouse up against the window along with cob webs, dead flies and water on the floor down one side of the bead. Bathroom sink was leaking, no internet, the whole building look liked it had never been cleaned, with carpet that look like it had been pulled out a long time ago just left in the walkway. Tried to get down to the pool, however it was so overgrown you couldn't get down there. Please do not spend your money on it!!

We ran into a problem with our recent booking for staying for long time to work at the mine and after contacting Gerald, after staying there for 3 days I felt that like my home. Gerald's sense of humour, caring attitude made our job easier. Will miss you Gerald and Lynn. Highly recommended

I’ve stayed at West Wyalong on and off for the past 6 months and on-going. Ambassadors True Blue is a great motel to stay at. The rooms and ensuites are always clean with all of the creature comforts desired for a pleasant stay. The location is great as it is close to shops yet still situated in a quiet location to ensure a good nights rest. The motel has a large off street parking lot for all vehicles. The owners are fantastic, go out of their way to ensure you have all that you need and are most helpful for any requests or information. I will continue to stay here into the future.

My Crew and I stayed at the True Blue for 6 months while working in the region. We couldn't have asked for anything more. Gerald and Lynn were exceptional hosts and looked after us very well. The rooms are large, clean, and decked out with brand new carpets. This was the preferred motel for the guys to stay in and the guys on night shift were looked after with flexible room make up times and heavier curtains to help them sleep through the day. Thanks for a great six months Gerald and Lynn. All the best.

Clean, secure, comfortable and quiet. Owners are friendly and provide good hospitality. I stay there regularly as I work at the local mine. My room also has new carpet due to recent renovations. It is conveniently located close to town and the back rooms are set back well from the road. Good place for miners and long distance travellers.

My old grand father told me to always take a swag with me. After inspecting this place I'm sure he was right. I travel a lot around Eastern states. I needed an overnight stay so instead opted for at a nearby spot which the grey nomads use. I stayed at Marsden rest area where Mid Western & Newell Highway meet. I had my jet boiler so could make a coffee.

Motel has potential but staff disorganised, Restaurant closed, no breakfast available. Room was clean but a bit tired and not appealing. Bed was not too bad, room was quiet. All in all I find it hard to recommend this motel.

Needed somewhere to stay after driving though flood waters. Place looked ok from the outside. They slogged me $85 for a single. Ripped off. shower rose broken dust over furniture couldnt use power points pillows hard as rocks and the spare pillows were ex hospital pillows. Could only sleep for 4 hours it was so uncomfortable. I am a motel owner, I charge $70 a single and I have almost perfect ratings. Avoid this place and sleep in the car.
