A public boat ramp and jetty, adjoining the park, provides safe and easy access to Lake Macquarie. The boat ramp and jetty are an excellent asset for those keen on fishing, canoeing, swimming, windsurfing, and kiteboarding. Wangi Point Holiday Park is the perfect holiday destination with accommodation to suit all budgets – from spacious unpowered camp sites to air conditioned two bedroom luxury villas with Foxtel.

We tried to find somewhere in Newcastle without any luck so when we tried here we managed to find a spot so we accepted straight away. I didn't do much research beforehand so we had no idea what to expect. We were both very pleasantly surprised. We are on the shore of Lake Macquarie with beautiful views over the lake, the service was excellent and friendly and the amenities and grounds are all well maintained. we are very happy to spend a few nights here.

The people running this park couldn’t do enough to make my stay very easy. I have a motor home and are traveling on my own the park filled up very quick on Boxing Day but still everyone was respectful of others. I would not hesitate to recommend this park.

Amongst the best RV sites around. New powered sites in the camping area ensure delightful and unsurpassed views of Lake Macquarie and surrounds. Easy boat access and ample bush walks. Delightful and helpful managers add to the appeal. A number of firepits and good amenities and camp kitchen come TV room. We will return.

From out west we wanted a retreat from the heat and fires. We wanted a quiet park without the new fangled mega playgrounds and hire bikes etc. Wangi Point exceeded our expectations where we could take nice walks along the lake's edge. The staff were very friendly and helpful and we also were lucky enough to have great traveling neighbours.. We will certainly come back. We stayed in a van site.

What a beautiful spot topped off by awesome staff. We only stayed two nights but we will be back. It is a peaceful park with lots of birdlife to take in. Our RV was across from the lake and had fantastic views. The lady at the desk was very accomodating and pleasant and helped us with every request we made. We had a few issues in the stay that were our fault but she willingly helped with solutions. Relaxing with that view easy. Facilities were very clean and adequate. Thanks for a great few days.

Ideally located right on the lake, friendly staff , good wifi and excellent amenities are the big pluses for this park. Sites are adequate in size but moving about and parking on the sites is tight owing to the narrow roadways. Very reasonable rates, especially as we were staying on the long weekend.

Lovely spot on Lake Maquarie. Views, bush walks & courtesy buses to local RSL & restaurants. But, the site promised with a fire pit was not delivered. So we go home a little cold with a s*** load of timber!!

This is a great little caravan park with unspoilt access to Lake Macquarie. With specatcular views, ease to fishing spots and great bushwalking the park kept us busy for hours. The facilities are clean and neat. We stayed in a cabin ( without en suite), suited our needs, but beds were a little on the hard side. The location also enabled short day drives to Toronto, Newcastle and down to the Tree Top adventures at Wyong Creek. All in all we really enjoyed our stay here.

Attended a family reunion Saturday 14th February 2015 at Wangi Point Lakeside Holiday Park to discover this amazing little place on the lake that was amazing. Several family stayed Friday and Saturday night in different levels of accommodation. On suite cabins , standard cabins close to the amenities block , camper vans on powered sites and the parks Safari tents everyone was happy at the level of cleanness and how well organised the accommodation was. The Safari tents had so much to offer and for less the $70 per night, it was a bargain. Thank you Jennie and Chris ( park managers) for making our stay wonderful. Highly recommend a weekend to anyone wanting to relax and kick back.

Hi Deanna, thank you for your enquiry about staying in November, we have several cabin options ranging from $95 to $164 per night at that time of year. We also have safari style tents for $67 per night - note these have no bathroom facilities but are close to the amenities block.
