Highly recommended avoiding this place. We stayed during the border closures with Qld and were forced to pay upfront for a week, despite requesting to pay daily due to the unknown volatility of the border situation. We where lucky enough to get an immediate border pass after 4 days of staying so we had to leave and cross the border immediately and then enter hotel quarantine. On requesting a refund for the 3 additional days we did not stay, due to the extreme extenuating circumstances, the manager refused. The park was half empty so our last minute checkout was in no way effecting their ability to take new arrivals, they were just money grabbing, taking advantage of people who are already at the lowest points in their lives. Shame on them. We were told on check in that the daily rate was $38, we where not told we were receiving a discounted rate for a week, we were simply given no option of paying daily. Even so if we were offered $2 a day discount which is what we were later told on the phone, the owner has still grabbed $120 from us for the 3 days we didn't stay. Disgraceful way to run a business, especially in these dreadful times. The manager is arrogant enough to argue back in response to my reviews rather than just admitting her actions were unjustified and unfair.

We stayed in the cabin overlooking the river. Staff was amazing and friendly and they had the lights turned on in our cabin as we had arrived late. We have stayed previously and that is the reason we came back as the décor is beautiful and relaxed and everything is supplied and a great shower and beds are comfortable. Amenities were wonderful and clean and the café down the road has the best food. Cannot wait to come back :)

More than happy to have spent 2 nights here. A Riverview Cabin directly across the road from the river. A really lovely spot. Cabin was spotless. No complaints. If you want to chill by the river this is the place to do it.

We have stayed at colonial tweed on and off for the past 15 years. We stayed recently and must say we were very impressed once again. We stayed in the tuckaroo cabin, which was very well appointed. Management are always very welcoming, and make our return trips great ones. Will definetely be back
