DO NOT BOOK WITH THESE PEOPLE LAST MINUTE OR AFTER 5! Terrible check in experience after a cancelled flight for my son. There is no one actually on site so the check in all remote. He waited outside for almost two hours before being let in, after countless phone calls from me to the remote check in call centre. They also double booked one of the party we had been flying with and they had to then go find other accommodation. It was a very stressful couple of hours for us, and I had only called them as a courtesy to let them know my son would be arriving as his flight was cancelled. Had I not, who knows how long it would have taken for it to be sorted out.

Hi Jodie, Thank you for your feedback and your reversion of the events, Unfortunately however you have left a little out, as you booked this reservation for 3 minors (under the age of 18) and as per our booking policy this was flagged by our reservations team, Yes whilst our reception isn’t physically open 24/7 as you would have read in all our correspondence our phones are covered 24/7 by a great local team who provide after hours arrivals and deal with all enquires along with having a 24/7 onsite manager for lockouts etc. Given the breach of the booking terms and conditions you were put on hold briefly while this issue was raised by our onsite management team. According to the motel cctv and phone records you were at the property for all of 13 minutes to be exact, Whilst I understand you are frustrated with this breach of our booking terms and conditions being identified I would probably be more appropriate to self reflect rather than launch a slandering attack on our business, I would like to add that we do a lot of late night and last minute bookings as according to all our other reviews we do them very well in deed, We hope you and your family have a very Merry Christmas, KD Motel Management

Faultless A 2 storey brick building, Clean, comfortable, great bed, table with 2 chairs to sit at, microwave, cutlery pack and plates, snacks and drinks to buy if you want, spacious parking, just off the motorway, take aways and servos handy. Arrived a bit after 6 due to traffic and the time zone change, no one at reception, used the the intercom provided and lovely staff arrived in a few mins to finalise check in, and did I mention a coffee pod machine with free pods great for my traveller coffee in the morning

Online we my husband and I booked for a pet friendly accomodation at this place, and I checked again that pets were allowed before confirming the booking. When we arrived the young man in the office took our payment right away for the accomodation, then after parking outside our room he came to us and said that room was not allowed with pets and he has no other rooms available. He refused to pay back the money we paid for the accomodation, and was very uncooperative and insensitive towards my husband and I who are now spending the night in our car on the street as there is other accomodation here or surrounding suburbs for many kilometres. Shameful treatment of paying customers.

Evening, How we do love a fictional story!! Unfortunately, your facts are drastically different from what actually occurred. You had booked a standard non pet friendly room that is CLEARLY advertised as not pet friendly, Obviously, you did not bring your dog into reception, so this was only picked up when we noticed you walking a dog into the room whilst we were doing maintenance. At this stage you were told that while we are a pet friendly property it clearly states “upon request” as you did not alert us, we were not able to assign a pet friendly room. Furthermore, given it’s a busy weekend we are fully booked, Before you left reception you were clearly told a refund had been processed. It might pay to ensure the facts are correct before you go on a wild goose chase / tirade when we have actually done everything, we can to rectify the issue for you, Given how worked up you are it may be a little hard to understand but we take great care into providing quality accommodation to our guests and need to ensure cleanliness of all rooms are at a high standard. Not to mention people do have allergies that need to be taken into consideration for as well, Unfortunately, you failed to read the booking confirmation so I’m not sure how we are to blame, Fortunately, this review says more about you as a person than us as a small family owned and operated business, We wish you all the very best, Management

I had to travel to attend a specialist appt at the John Flynn Hospital. I asked if there was a chance of checking in earlier due to having to come back after my appt at rest. Tom was so accommodating and made this happen without any issues at all. Such great service

Very impressed with this motel only mins drive to Gold Coast Airport. An older property but everything is in tip top condition and spotlessly clean. We arrived after hours and found the lights on for us, along with a welcome note and a Tim Tam snack. A family owned business who obviously value their customers. We will be staying again.

Stayed for 2 nights and found the rooms very well laid out and spotlessly clean. Attention to detail with provisions and information in room was supberb. Location is away from the beaches and there is aircraft noise.
