Simple tidy good value, we had upstairs room you need to close windows to kill traffic noise. Parking in shade on RHS good. Nice place for a group booking when you can walk to Ancora receptions and across the road to a cafe in the outside Council Office open area for breakfast.
We booked on line. We got to the Hotel to find the receptionist being hassled by a difficult customer. He made a point of acknowledging us, even though he was dealing with this customer. The receptionist was amazing. He then booked us in. The room was on the first floor, with ample parking. The room was a very good size with a lounge area, table chairs and a couch. Room was very clean, and 2 bottles for water and biscuits complimentary. Tea and coffee with a small milk. Good size bathroom. Very effective and Quiet Air Conditioner. Great service very good and affordable Big Breakfast. Very close to clubs, restaurant. And shopping centre. Very quiet rooms, comfortable bed. We totally recommend this hotel.
this place is pretty typical of a 3.5 star car/motel but I tell you what the staff are very friendly and helpful and rooms are very clean and beds are very comfortable and they make up your room each day. walking distance from most things you need, bowls clubs Twin Towns etc and even Coolangata and Kirra! wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
This Motel is quite the one for you it is a moderate price with rooms that are fitted out well, and the Hosts are very amiable to your requests. Breakfast or Evening Meals are available, also at moderate prices.. I should have done this Motels review but I had other agendas on my plate and simply put into I will do that later mode... I do apologize to the operators...... So give the Bayswater Tweed Motel a try and find out how happy I was with the service ambiance and the Hosts who run the establishment...
We had a nice stay here . instead of going back to Brisbane we found this motel on line. We had stayed here before a dozen years ago and it hasn't changed at all. Comfortable rooms and quiet enough so close to the main road. A good position as a base for further investigation of the area.
Great walking distance to shops , places to eat and marina.Bed was very hard and uncomfortable could feel the springs think it is time for new mattresses. Bathroom needs a renovation and a good clean.Free bottles of water a nice touch.Very friendly lady at the reception desk.
We had a good sized room, spotlesslyy clean and an easy walk to clubs and restaurants. Shower over bath detracts from a higher rating. Comfortable and great for an overnight stay. Malaysian restaurant on premises which we didn't use.
This was an excellent place for us to stay - walking distance from the Tweed Head Hospital and even closer to the Tweed Head Bowling Club. Great shopping mall across the road. After a short stint in the hospital we needed to get urgent documents to Air New Zealand and the Office lady was so helpful and understanding and received, printed and sent on emails for us. Our ipad could do this. Nothing was too much. Thank you so much for your help Rebecca.
A tidy complex in a well located area across from Tweed Bowls Club and walking distance to Twin Towns and Coolangatta beachfront. Staff are friendly and the complex is fairly quiet away from road noise. Right in a bus route everything is very accessible including Day trip up to Broadbeach. The only draw back was we were a family group of 4 which included a large queen bed and sofa (not sofa bed) which the two children needed to share. We made it work for us though and the kitchenette was simple but useful for our 4 day stay. The staff were well organised and accommodated our change in circumstances. Thanks very much!
Stayed in Unit 2016 - amazingly clean which is more than can be said for many places. Everything you wanted was there and good wifi. Paid $A165 for one night. Air conditioning/heat pump very, very noisy which was the one major downside. Also ended up turning off the tap to the toilet cistern to stop the periodic rushes of water into the cistern which did nothing to add to what was a sleepless night and 0400 start. Bayswater Tweed Motel has so much potential - it's currently dated, but with a make over this would be the number one place to stay in Tweed Heads being close to Gold Coast Airport and the Pacific Highway.
