We [a family of 5] stayed for two nights and had a great time. Centrally located and 2 minutes walk from the chairlift. The hotel doesn't have much parking but they encourage double parking and have a notice board at entry - so everyone can put their contact details. Big games room for the kids and a very comfy well equipped lounge for adults. Rooms are the biggest but no problems as they're clean and well equipped - but beds were too soft for me! Food was excellent, set menu but steak first night and fish the second. Staff were top, very cheerful and always asking how our day had been. Overall, a superb place to stay with everything you could want to enjoy Thredbo and the surrounding area.

We had a group of 24 staying for 5 nights with 4 days of bushwalking. We all found Boali Lodge a wonderful place to stay. It was very clean and well organised, communication was excellent and the food was beyond our expectations. Gianni, the chef, and his wife Kym made amazing breakfasts, lunches and dinners and were very accommodating with all of our queries. Belinda in the office was great with her communication with us while organising our trip. Everyone totally enjoyed their stay. Thank you to Gianni, Kym and Belinda.

Boali has always been a great place to stay and on a recent trip it has proven to be even better-the two resident managers Gianni and Kym are excellent and Gianni is a superb chef. Recommended without hesitation.

Totally awesome value for money. The inclusion of 3 excellent meals per day (as lunch is included in ski season) is both unexpectedly delicious, and makes staying at Boali fantastic value for money. Great location - near the Valley Terminal lifts - and fantastic people to meet. Makes for a wonderful, family friendly and relaxing ski holiday.

We had a five night stay in early July 2019, loved every minute and especially appreciated the following; *Italian resident chef Gianni and his gorgeous wife Kym prepared 3 delicious meals a day (all included in the room fee) - lots of variety, fresh produce and without exception excellent quality. A sashimi entree was particularly memorable. Vegetarians are well-catered for too. *It is a family-friendly lodge and my kids had a fine time playing with the other children and made some lovely new friends. The children eat their dinner all together at 6pm, and the adults at 7pm. Everyone was very happy with that arrangement. *The lodge has a clean, bright, spacious ambience with spectacular views of the ski slopes and a lovely lounge to relax in. *Boali (pronounced Bow-arl-ee) is well situated with Thredbo's Valley Terminal ski lift about a 5 minute easy walk away. *It has carparking on site so you can drive right to the door (no time-consuming, expensive over-snow shuttles like at some of the Victorian ski resorts) *The lodge's excellent facilities include ski storage room, drying room, kids' playroom and and an endless supply of hot chocolate & marshmallows/tea/coffee/biscuits/fruit. *We had a loft room - with lots of natural light and a great view. The kids enjoyed staying upstairs in the loft. *Most of the guests and members hailed from Sydney - but we found it a fairly easy and very scenic drive from Melbourne and we Victorian interlopers we made to feel warmly welcomed. Thank you for a fabulous stay. We will be back.
