Absolutely nothing to fault with this hotel. Friendly staff, great location (walking distance to restaurants, beach, shops), undercover parking. The room was very well appointed with crockery, cutlery, toaster, kettle, fridge etc. also a kitchen sink so you don't have to fill up your kettle in the bathroom! Unfortunately this time our trip was too short to enjoy the pool and bbq facilities but we will definitely stay again and make better use of them. I would definitely recommend staying at Terrigal Pacific Coastal Retreat

Pros:
We booked over the phone for a room the same day, and got a slightly discounted rate. We checked in after reception closed but we got our key and found our room easily. We appreciated the lovely complementary chocolate. The main room was clean, modern and fresh looking, and the kitchenette contained all you’d need to make a meal. The bed was comfortable and the sheets were crisp and clean. The TV was huge & had plenty of channels. Over all it was fairly good value for an overnight stay. We didn’t get a chance to use the pool area but it looked really inviting. There seemed to be some good options for dining within walking distance, but as we had a car it was easy to drive around town.

Cons:
the bathroom could use an update. It was fairly clean, but was dated. There were signs of mould in places and somehow there was a small amount of water leaking from somewhere when the shower was used. The shower head was over a bathtub, which we dislike (especially my 6’4’ husband) because it feels pokey. They may have rooms with stand alone showers, so next time I would ask for this.

I didn’t see a lift so if you have heavy luggage it might be better to ask for a lower room rather than lug it up flights of stairs.

They require guests to empty their rubbish into the large bins downstairs- we didn’t realise this condition as it is listed in their check in paperwork, which we didn’t see or sign till checkout due to our late arrival. The staff said it was fine though which was nice of them.

Booking for a total of 16 guests with an extended family stay.

The rooms were perfect, and the structure of the resort makes you feel like you have come from the road and stepped into an oasis!

All the facilities were super clean, and routinely maintained.

Wether in a poolside studio or a two bedroom apartment (which is our split) everyone was comfortable, relaxed and enjoyed the pool, the barbecue area, and the rooftop set up.

The staff were amazing, always willing to lend a helping hand, answer questions and even went above and beyond to make sure we had enough of the bathroom ammenities, pool towels and bath towels.

Could not sing praises any louder!

Can't say enough good things about the Terrigal Pacific Coastal Retreat. When we checked in, we were met by Denny, who became our favorite staff member for our 1 week stay. All of the staff we had contact with were lovely, but Denny is priceless to the Coastal Retreat! Denny always had a smile or a wave, something nice to say and would ask us how our day was. We knew he was genuine when he gave my husband a nickname and shortened my name and my daughter's name - True "Aussie" welcome when you get an I, E or O at the end of your name - Loved it!

Our suite was perfect for the 3 of us... A 2 room suite with a stocked kitchen, living room, washer & dryer along with 2 balconies. It was well laid out, clean, and fit all of our needs for our stay. It was also very quiet, which they spell out very clearly when you check in, they don't tolerate loud guests or late night parties. We really appreciated that.

Pool was nicely set up. Comfortable seating available. Pools toys and etc. there for guests to use with an outdoor shower and toilet. Barbeques also available to the guests which we saw other guests using one night and they looked lovely.

Convenient food and shopping if you don't want to stay in and cook. Nice coffee shop and park across the street. A Cole's Express 2 doors down for milk, bread, chips, etc. and an easy 10 minute walk into Terrigal for nice outdoor restaurants, shopping & beach.

Terrigal Pacific Coastal Retreat had everything we needed to be comfortable, welcome and close to our friends for the Holidays. We KNOW we will be back, so Denny, keep a look out for Rosie, Deb & Shan!

We have twice stayed at Terrigal Pacific and found it to be bright, airy, very comfortable, clean and affordable. The staff is friendly and helpful and the heated swimming pool is spotless and central to the view from the rooms. Parking is under cover. It is genuine value for money.

I spent 5 wonderful nights here at TPCR.
The studio room I stayed in was beautifully appointed with a modern leather couch and a new expensive bed. Sue has thought about every little touch. Soft cream and white colours energised by dabs of aquamarine. Needless to say the room was sparkle arkle clean. The large resort style heated pool is the centrepiece of the retreat and focus point for the Colosseum style apartments. TPCR is definitely an upmarket boutique style resort. But for me the most incredible thing are the owner / managers Danny and Sue . I arrived here in a somewhat state of disrepair, lol. They made my stay a perfect retreat , they treat you like family and are true humanitarians. I will never forget how well I was treated.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 2 nights in September and we were made so welcome from the very beginning. On arrival we were kindly upgraded to an even better room thanks to the lovely Irish owner, as another guest had to cancel.
The rooms were very clean and Covid safe, they have everything you could ask for. The room had a speaker we could connect our phone to which was great to sit down with a glass of wine and relax to! The bed was super comfy also!! The bathrooms are a little on the tired side but were very clean.
The pool area was my favourite. It is so pretty and relaxing especially with the beautiful water feature! Our balcony looked out onto the pool and was lovely to sit out at night when the pool was lit up.
The owner even gave us an extended check out because we didn’t want to leave!!
Would definitely recommend.

I spent quite a bit of time searching for the right property for a friends reunion and selected this one. The photos looked great with a big pool and resort features.
Well, the pool is quite small and the whole "resort" was more of a motel than a resort and quite dated.
I think it had been spruced up in recent times but it still seemed quite dated and run of the mill.
As a motel (which is what it is) the cost is very expensive, I thought very overpriced.

The beds were very comfortable. The main road to Terrigal runs along the motel, so expect some traffic noise.

Driving distance from town.

This accommodation has everything you need. It’s clean, spacious, has a kitchenette, heated pool, BBQ area and laundry. It’s quiet and easy to get to. I’d recommend driving as there are many places to explore on the central coast and it’s in a convenient location. The staff were so helpful and friendly, lots of families stayed here and the heated pool was fantastic. I’m looking forward to booking another stay here.

Beautifully appointed two bedroom unit looking down on oasis pool with Waterfall, lovely water temp. Felt covid safe, clean rooms, central heating, friendly cooperative staff, felt welcomed and relaxing was the theme throughout decor. Could have been anywhere in the world, decor of rooms a lovely surprise. Nothing to much trouble for staff. Full kitchen. Highlight for me a bath, very rare in accommodation.

Sorry I didn't reply sooner - travelling. The one I stayed in has the toilet in the bathroom. It was just a one-room apartment - maybe a family apartment is different. You'd have to ask the resort itself if they have other bathroom configurations for larger apartments.

Yes there is an onsite laundry. I did not use it but heard the staff tell some international backpackers of the facility.
