Very well located to the beach, shops and restaurants of the area. We enjoyed our stay in a tidy, two bedroom with sitting area. Everything in the room is well worn (sofa and rug) but quite clean and serviceable. The beds were very comfortable. Our not so fantastic experience was that our room door was left unlocked twice after room tidy. We did not report the first incident. After the second time we did report it and it never came up as an issue again in our 4 night stay. This was purely a bad timing situation I am sure but during the early part of the day we were called in the morning and asked if workers could come in to fix the shower screen. Our declining of this request at 8:50am after a long cruise was accepted graciously. Still, supper annoying having to listen to lots of loud worker noises. I would recommend this location but ask before booking if any construction maintenance is anticipated in your rented area or around your room.

Booking was easy and we had emails to confirm, check our arrival time and declare our Covid status. Then we were given a code for self check in just in case the office was closed. The office was open so check in was easy. We were on the first floor and the room was spacious. The mini kitchen even had a hot plate for cooking as well as a microwave. Breakfast cereal and juice provided along with bottled water and house keeping visited every day to tidy up. Because you aren’t on the Main Street it is really quiet at night which is great for sleeping. There is also a free laundry and you can access free beach towels and umbrellas. We would stay there again.

Stayed here one night only on a work trip. Usually I’m booked into the Crown Plaza but they had no vacancies.
When I enquired on pricing I was quoted $220 for an executive room, but website said $145. I emailed back and they apologised and gave me that price. Not sure if this is a tactic to charge more, or an honest mistake.
Room was very tidy and reasonably clean, they need to pay attention to the little things.
Pros: Quiet, comfortable bed, screened windows so you can get fresh air, good sized rooms, lots of hot water and decent water pressure. Breakfast packs and 2 free bottles of water were a nice touch
Cons: Small bar fridge and you would struggle for space if staying for a few days, only has a microwave, no cooktop. Air conditioning struggled to cool the room in the evening and it wasn’t an overly warm day. No regular glassware in kitchenette, just mugs or wine glasses, Wine glasses needed to be cleaned as they still had lipstick on them and the dishes were dusty Horrible hair dryer attached to the wall - seriously bad and it would take hours to dry longer hair
$145 for the room was very reasonable, and if they took care of some of the minor details above, you would be happy to pay more.

I was disgusted with the quality of the room at 1st glance, cracked tiles in shower and what appeared to be wires tapped back above the vanity! That night a German cochroach came out of the noisy AC onto my face , then i shook it off and it landed on my fiances breast!! This happened at 2am! So after a rough nites sleep , we woke and had a spa as it was my finances birthday and all she wanted was a spa room. She filled the spa and hopped in while I had my breakfast.She called me in to join her and to my shock horror the Spa was brown and had rust particles floating on the bubbles and the spa had a brown ring around it!! I quickly asked her to get out as I inspected the brown substance which was obviously rust! This Spa has obviously not been maintained correctly! When I called the front desk, Elizabeth said she would contact the manager to organise a refund and would call me as soon as she hears from Lisa the manager... I never did receive the call and found a lousy $75 refund to which Lisa explained that if we had called at 2am to complain about the cochroach, they would have moved us to another room and they could not fully refund us! Who does this? Who wants to be moved into another room at 2am and how can you trust these people to provide you a Spa which should be maintained and to health standards? People, Enter at your own risk

Anthony, It is disheartening that you have left some key factors out of your 'story' whilst trying to discourage future guests! The part about you saying you were wearing fake tan! The part where you were found to be smoking on your apartment balcony when we are a completely smoke free establishment or abut how you put a broken wine bottle into the back of a housekeepers trolley, unbeknownst to them, causing the staff member to slice their hand open as well as damage to stock on the trolley from the red wine spilling throughout. Anthony you can not stay in ANY hotel for 16+ hrs and expect a full refund. If our establishment was as horrid as you describe you would not have hesitated to contact management no matter what time of night it was!

We only liked the location. So so close to beach and shops. Non under cover parking onsite is first come first serve - about 15 spots. The building itself and the one bedroom apartment we stayed in is quite dated and needs TLC. There was a decent size balcony but it was tired looking. Good thing you can go up/down on the stairs as its only about 3 storeys so we avoided using the lift at all cost. They have a strict noise policy - quiet by 10pm or something like that. Offenders can get the boot. So it was quiet at night. We were greeted on entry by a dirty toilet bowl and fridge (not literally). Added to the bad experience. I would not stay there again.

We have adequate parking onsite for 1 spot per apartment so that makes 23 car spots available at any one time (not including staff parking spots) We have taken on board your comments of our apartments feeling dated and tired and will keep this in mind when looking to make future updates. On a positive note, its great that you appreciated the benefits of our 'no noise' policy. As stated on the previous platform, we do apologise for the standard of cleanliness and wish this had been bought to our attention on the day you had arrived in order for us to rectify this immediatley.

Sunday. Reception closed. No key box code text so had to use phone. They said it was because we had a UK number....but two other Aussie guests hadn't had the text either, so that didn't make sense. Key was released remotely. No problem. Lovely studio. Well equipped. Some crockery and cutlery were dirty. We always wash what we're going to use anyway. Paintwork tatty, sofa stained, a/c kept clicking, shower cubicle paint chipped and tiles cracked but nowhere is perfect when it comes down to it. It was still perfectly functional. Good car park. Fabulous location. Comfy bed. Quiet. It was a good stay and we would definitely book again.

We will definitely take on the issues you have bought to our attention and are excited that we have painting works commencing in July of this year, giving all units a revamp It is unfortunate your check in wasn't smooth as we anticipated, however on the odd occasion technology does have its hiccups, as you saw, management were still able to drop keys into the keysafe for you promptly. Rung up directly to get a price 10 days prior to arrival for 2 nights Fri & Sat on the cheapest room.Was told $540.00 for Studio with Balcony, I wanted the cheapest room,was told this was.When confirmation came through we were given Spa Room, must have been upgraded ??. At reception,I thank her for upgrade but then was told that's what i paid for. ( the Studio Room was $430.00 I was told then) After discussing the situtation she said she would talk to and get the manager Lisa to ring me. As for the included continental breakfast, well our coffee & breakfast milk was not replaced, water was not replaced. Maybe you have to ask !!! About a week later I had a missed call from Lisa. I rung her back and she denied ringing me at all. ( I had her mobile No ) I proceeded to explain what had happen and the phone went dead, havent heard from her since, thats poor form, poor management. Yep, maybe I should have double check the price and room type, next time we will stay somewhere else

Thank you for your review bellengermark following your stay with us. At the time you made your booking we only had availability in our Spa Apartments. We gave you a Spa apartment at a reduced rate, inline with our Studio Balcony Apartment. On the Friday we had a last minute cancellation, then making a Studio Apartment become available. The receptionist that was behind the desk on the Friday of your arrival, is only learning the ropes and was unaware of your initial enquiry being for a studio Apartment, otherwise she would have moved you to the Studio that became available at the last minute. I can assure you that management has implemented strategies to avoid this happening in the future. It is unfortunate that you will not return to Terrigal Sails in the future, as we would love to show you this is an isolated incident.

Arrived early and room was ready, nothing special looking from the outside of building. Was a bit wary when given key for our room, thinking room must be old, but was pleasantly surprised when entered room, spacious, modern and clean. King size bed, sofa with plenty of room, bathroom was modern and clean, no complaints. Woke in the morning opened fridge to make coffee and was pleasantly surprised that there were 2 complimentary breakfast packs, consisting of cereal, milk, juice and biscuits, very nice. Apartment we were in had no views but that was ok, was in a great location, just a 2 minute walk to beach, restaurants and bars. Plenty of car parking within unit block and free. Would recommend

This property has clean and spacious rooms, all with at least a kitchenette. Daily servicing. Breakfast packs provided made up of a fruit juice drink, cereal and milk. It is a very short walk to the shops and beach. Outdoor communal barbecue in handy location with pleasant outlook. Plenty of free parking, lift and guest laundry.
On the downside, noise carries very badly in the building, with other guests' footsteps, shower and toilet flush all sounding very close.
Do not stay here if you want a pool or balcony suitable to sit on (though some larger rooms than ours had them), nor if you want spectacular views. This is, however, a fantastic, slightly cheaper option than the main hotel in the area.

We stayed here for two nights and loved it. The bed was the best we have slept in. The apartment was large with a lounge and a small deck, the shower was great. Very close to the beach and in walking distance of great restaurants. Microwave and hot plate available to do your own catering and complimentary packet of cereal, milk, juice and water provided. Highly recommend.

Hi I'm not sure if they have a wheel chair access But what I remember, there was a lift there and the rooms are fairly big and would be easy to move around in a chair, also the bathroom is also quite large, the driveway is ramped, and the shops are easy to get to .they are across the road but you would have to go 1 block around ,very little distance, to get there. ..
