Detailed Reviews
We were very pleased to have booked an overnight stay at Kames Cottage. Away from town but not too far away, the cottage was comfortable and the host Sue and her family were very welcoming. Breakfast provision was nothing but generous. We had truly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend.

We stayed 4 nights. Just loved the peace and quiet. The canola was in bloom and was spectacular. Especially loved our visits from the resident fur kids. The cottage had everything we needed and more. From the breakfast supplies to the fresh eggs, don't forget the chocolates. We will be visiting again.

What a great find. 5 minutes out of town but a million miles away from any hustle and bustle. Well equipped cottages with everything you need and more. Very comfy beds. Bonus of being on a working farm and experiencing the animals. Great hosts.

Our stay could not have been better. Don and Sue made us feel incredibly welcome in their well appointed and maintained cottages on their beautiful farm. Only 5 minutes from town or the air field, we could not have chosen better. Their instructions and suggestions made our trip a breeze.
Our two families were encouraged to feel at home, and nothing seemed too much trouble for our hosts.
We especially enjoyed long chats with Don who was so generous with his time sharing fascinating stories of the regional farming history, and his rich knowledge of machinery, agriculture, chemistry, biology, and life.

We rented both cottages for our visit, which comfortably accommodated our group of five adults and two children. We were delighted with the warmth of the welcome we received (Temora lives up to its friendly reputation), and the cottages were compact and comfortable with a well fitted out kitchen, flat screen TV and good air conditioning. The fresh eggs for breakfast (which the children were allowed to collect), the animals that they were encouraged to interact with, and the hospitality of the owners all made it excellent value for money. Everyone in the group, from under 10 to over 70, thoroughly approved.

This cabin accommodation is on a farm outside Temora and as such was quiet and peaceful. The main room had ample space with a comfortable lounge and a dining table with 4 chairs. A full sized stove, microwave and of course a fridge were provided, but is was the extras that were noticeable different from lots of other accommodation places. Fresh eggs and a loaf of bread, plus a bowl of tasty chocolates were the unexpected. The price included breakfast and there was plenty of the normal fare.
The rooms were very clean and it was very good value for money indeed.
The main bedroom was very tight, but the bed comfortable. A blind or fitting did make a noise when the wind blew. The bathroom was small but shower in it quite a decent size and there was a separate toilet, although very small.
There was no WiFi available which was not unexpected as it was 5-6 k out of town.

There is a little farm just outside of Temora, NSW that has two small, self contained cottages. Each cottage is fully outfitted and can accommodate up to 5, or just right for a couple. The owner/operator is meticulous in ensuring the cleanliness of the cottage and even provides farm fresh eggs courtesy of the hens on the property. The cottage is in a quite rural area and privacy is paramount. A very relaxing stay for a night or any length of time.
