A magnificently well managed property. It has one, two, three bedroom apartments, motel units. It should cater for all but since some is a climb suggest checking if disabled access is required. We are return customers. We will be returning with as many of our family we can bring next time. There is a spotlessly clean pool and spa, we smelt people cooking their breakfast there. The views from the higher levels of the property are spectacular. Our unit 15 was a 3 bedroom property and the bathroom/s, kitchen and all other facilities were spotlessly clean. The appliances are all modern top quality. The grounds are immaculate. The front of house staff are friendly, efficient and helpful. There are excellent cafes and eating places close by. Suggest the Bowling Club which really surprised us with its quality meals. The TATHRA hotel has views out of this world as well. Thoroughly recommend this place. And the other benefit? Prices are reasonable for this location.

We have stayed here 2 times within 3 months and have booked it again. The location is great especially if you want to Mountain Biking or go to the beach. Nice cafes nearby as well. We cooked most of our own meals in the fully equipped kitchens and our townhouse had a beautiful courtyard with a BBQ. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful.

My Husband, Sister In-law & I stayed here for a wedding we attended, we booked a 2 bedroom Tree Top Apartment. The layout of the hotel has a relaxing lfill. There are 2 spa's 1 being a swim spa both of which we enjoyed using as well as having a swimming pool ( I did use the pool though the water was quite cold ) but then plunging back into the spa was great. The apartment we had a good layout, downstairs were the lounge, kitchen, dining & laundry areas, upstairs is were the two bedrooms & bathrooms were located. The view from or room overlooked the hotels grounds which was pleasant.( room number was 13 ). I have added pics of rooms. We would happily recommend the Hotel to our friends & go back again in the future. The local Bowling club is just across the road, the surf club & of course the beach are only a 2 min walk as well as the local shops. Great location. We also had a single lock up garage to park our car

Hi 4tbags, Thank you very much for sharing you Tathra Beach House and Tathra experience with others. Our Tree Top Apartments are a great option for a family or for two couples. Although there are a few stairs to access them being set high in the property the views over our gardens and extra privacy is appreciated by many of our guests. We loved our two bedroom apartment and spa on the deck. We could see the ocean and especially enjoyed the beautifully manicured gardens and communal areas. We will definitely stay again! The apartment was a good walk to the new pub and the start of some beautiful coastal walks. We had sunshine but it was cold most days but still very enjoyable. More shops and cafes etc are open at the end of the week. The wharf cafe and restaurant isn’t open Monday or Tuesday out of summer season.

Check-in was quick and friendly. Room was good although may be quite noisy during the summer months as it overlooked the pool. The air conditioners for both our room and the next room were right above our front door and made a very annoying sound all night, switching on and off, which kept me awake most of the night. There was an outside light also which stayed on all night and brought light into the room. Don't stay on a Sunday night as the only place open was the pub for dinner and with restrictions, we were lucky to get a table. Loved the old wharf but there was nothing else to do in Tathra in the off season.

Hi SydDiana, Sorry we were unaware that their was an issue with the air-conditioner, they are brand new and shouldn't be at all noisy, we will investigate further. We have many different styles of accommodation, some close to the pools others further away. We always recommend guests give us a call to make a reservation so we can recommend an accommodation option that best suits their requirements. Many of our guests who visit in the cooler months enjoy beach walks, whale watching cruises, mountain biking, exploring our National Parks, visiting the quaint villages, gourmet foods and craft offerings. We also have a brand new cliff top boardwalk with whale watching platforms. On Sunday nights food options have been a little limited with only a couple of options due to Covid restrictions however we do have excellent restaurant and cafe options at other times. Peaceful, friendly, comfortable and very well maintained. We have been attending this facility regularly for approximately 20 years , first as a couple and more recently accompanied by adult children and grandchildren. The team who run the reaper are friendly and very helpful with suggestions. It is worth calling them to discuss your trip and make your booking. The appartments are well stocked and all we really needed to take was food, drinks and beach towels. Even when fully booked the design allows for privacy and quiet when needed. Light airy apartments built into a hillside means lots of steps but the recent addition of two units with level entry are welcomed by those of us with mobility challenges. This is always our first choice for accomodation on the South Coast.

Booked for 12 guys for a weeks golfing on the south coast, having stayed at Tathra Beach House before, I had no hesitations booking here after our annual Vic trip was canceled due to Covid. The room alocations of 2 to an appartment was ideal, with heaps of space and great access to the BBQ and Pool area. Rob and Lesley, together with their staff are just terrific, will be back again and again.

We had a treetop apartment and it was perfect. It was beautifully fitted out - had absolutely everything we could have asked for. The property including grounds and pool is very very clean and so well maintained . Staff were incredibly helpful- even had the medication and skills to remove a tick from my friend’s leg! Just across the road from the swimming beach and we could walk to coffee and lunch spots within minutes. We had a perfect holiday and hopefully will return again. Some fresh food available but I would recommend doing a supermarket shop at one of the bigger towns before arrive. There’s a Woolies at Tura on the main road.

My husband and I were able to get away for 7 nights to the Tathra beach house in mid-winter 2021! We stayed in one of the units overlooking the beach with a spa on the balcony. Just magic views and hot spas on cold days with the sun streaming onto the bubbling water in the privacy of our own balcony. It was cold but fine and beautiful. New managers Christine and Michael have seemlessly taken over from Rob and Leslie delivering high quality, friendly service in this delightful place of serviced apartments, set amongst beautifully landscaped waterways and gardens. It all just works, for couples and families. Tathra is a magic little picturesque town with sweeping views from the hilltops, the pub, the wharf in particular. The wharf locavore is now 10 years old and just fabulous: food, coffee, service from Emma and Poppy and the team, ambience with local art works and produce. This and Fat Tony's restaurant, the beautiful beach and walks in the national parks close by, day trips to Merimbula, Bermagui, Bithry Inlet, local oysters and other seafood - all part of the Tathra experience.

We had to skirt floodwater to arrive at Tathra Beach House, which is perfectly located in the gem of the Sapphire Coast. With the beach and children’s playground across the road and alongside cafes, general store and pharmacy, we could park the cars and enjoy the slow pace expected on a great beach holiday. A highlight was the new fine dining restaurant, Pividori’s, located right on the beachfront.
The new Executive Four Bedroom Apartment was just right for a multi-generational family holiday with two bedrooms and a living room on each level, and an excellent kitchen, living rooms and expansive balcony all enjoying great sea/beach views. This accommodation has quality furnishings and was extremely comfortable, especially the beds.
A huge thanks to Jodi, Rob and team for ensuring our needs were well met (including provision of two high chairs), which ensured a brilliant family holiday.
