Peaceful, friendly, comfortable and very well maintained. We have been attending this facility regularly for approximately 20 years , first as a couple and more recently accompanied by adult children and grandchildren. The team who run the reaper are friendly and very helpful with suggestions. It is worth calling them to discuss your trip and make your booking. The appartments are well stocked and all we really needed to take was food, drinks and beach towels. Even when fully booked the design allows for privacy and quiet when needed. Light airy apartments built into a hillside means lots of steps but the recent addition of two units with level entry are welcomed by those of us with mobility challenges. This is always our first choice for accomodation on the South Coast.

The tree top apartment is situated adjacent to your own babbling brook running through a tree fern garden. The apartment is tastefully fitted out with everything you need plus some- including reliable internet and a full laundry. The heated pool and spa looked inviting although we never used them due to cold windy weather. The minor issues were carrying your belongings along a ramp and up some stairs then parking in a dedicated garage. The staff were so helpful too. We’ll definitely be back!

Hi Donna, Thanks so much for you review, our Tree Top Apartments are set high in the rear section of our property, so unfortunately their are a few stairs to access them. We always recommend that guests give us a call to discuss their requirements so we can recommend an apartment style that best suits. Our Two Bedroom Tree Top apartments are very popular for families and couples who appreciate a little more seclusion. Love staying at Tathra Beach house. The ocean view room is the best with the spa. Amazing to wake up, see the sunrise over the beach all amongst a beautiful garden setting. We’ve stayed here for work and a family stay and everyone’s always enjoyed it. Recommend heading up to the Tathra hotel for fish and chips or a tasty Steak washed down with a beer brewed on site. You can’t fault Tathra.

There were 23 individuals in our group who, due to the range of accommodation options, were all able to find what they needed for a comfortable stay. The location, right opposite the beach and within walking distance of cafes and a supermarket, was perfect for us.

Tathra Beach House is conveniently located directly across from the beach. The unit was absolutely immaculate and equiped with high quality kitchen equipment and utensils. From the arrival gift to departure the stay was perfect, only sad thing being that we had to leave after only 3 nights. Tathra is surrounded by national parks with great walks and abundant wild life. We have no reservation in recommending the area and the Beach House for a long stay or stop over. Definitely planning to return and enjoy this beautiful part of the world. Oops, forgot to mention that the staff/owners were super friendly and helpful.

We stayed 6 nights in Sept 2022 and could not be happier with our choice. The 2 br apartment had every facility we needed and the entire property is in excellent well maintained condition. Staff were very helpful in all respects. There was ample room to spread out and be comfortable and the quality of fittings and furniture was very good. Highly recommended.

We loved our two bedroom apartment and spa on the deck. We could see the ocean and especially enjoyed the beautifully manicured gardens and communal areas. We will definitely stay again! The apartment was a good walk to the new pub and the start of some beautiful coastal walks. We had sunshine but it was cold most days but still very enjoyable. More shops and cafes etc are open at the end of the week. The wharf cafe and restaurant isn’t open Monday or Tuesday out of summer season.

Very well appointed one bedroom spa apartment. Very clean and well equipped. Reception team were welcoming and informative. Spa & swim spa were appreciated give the cool sea water temp 😁. Good location & access to supermarket, restaurants & cafes.

Our two swimming pools are only heated from September to Easter. Best time of year for the warm sea water on the beach is usually February and March. Although an ideal summer holiday location, if you're looking for a mid-winter stopover while visiting the Sapphire coast, you won't do better than Tathra Beach House. Comfortable, clean and convenient, we could have stayed a lot longer.

My Husband, Sister In-law & I stayed here for a wedding we attended, we booked a 2 bedroom Tree Top Apartment. The layout of the hotel has a relaxing lfill. There are 2 spa's 1 being a swim spa both of which we enjoyed using as well as having a swimming pool ( I did use the pool though the water was quite cold ) but then plunging back into the spa was great. The apartment we had a good layout, downstairs were the lounge, kitchen, dining & laundry areas, upstairs is were the two bedrooms & bathrooms were located. The view from or room overlooked the hotels grounds which was pleasant.( room number was 13 ). I have added pics of rooms.
