Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Stayed one night on the way out west. Site was adequate for our needs. Amenities were spotless with hot shower. Camp kitchen served it's purpose. Bit noisy throughout the night and a few workers leaving in the early morning but this is Singleton.

Recently stopped over driving from Brisbane to Jindabyne via the New England Highway. Good middle distance. Used camp ground for tents. Good camp kitchen, well maintained and tidy. Good service. Very busy caravan park. Looked like a lot of contractors from the local power stations.

Not close to shops. Need to drive into Singleton to get food or supplies.

Park is very noisy during all times of the night even though it is off the main highway. The road it is on is also a major thorough fare for large trucks overnighting. Bring the earplugs.

We stayed here for one night in our caravan, mid January, on our way to the Tamworth Country Music Festival.

We had checked the park out a coupe of months before hand, and were VERY impressed. VERY clean amenities, plenty of hot water; and a clean shade covered pool.. Kitchen amenities spotless, including the BBQ. Clean park. The park is off the main road up on a hill. at night I could hear the coal train go through, but, heck, I love the sound of trains.

We shall be staying here again in April, on our way to Glen Innes for the Celtic Festival.

Despite contacting staff & advising of the need for accommodation with low odour due to strong chemical sensitivity (& being assured there wouldn't be any odour) the cabin we were given had an overpowering fragrance which couldn't be removed by leaving door & windows open (45° day as well). Office closed & late arrival so stuck with it. The cabins are clean but very basic. Mattress very hard. Not recommended for anyone with respiratory problems or asthmatic. Wouldn't stay again.

with the ambience of the mile long coal trains and highway traffic it is almost impossible to sleep.
The rooms are a take back to the seventies with air conditioners so loud you need to yell to have a conversation. Badly patched holes in the plaster could surely receive a lick of paint.
The pool so cold your teeth will chatter on a 34 degree day, if it is even clean.

We stayed here for one night . Staff were friendly. Accomodation is basic but not bad at all. It’s Singleton and an area for working ppl so just don’t expect a tourist park. We enjoyed our stay here and it’s easy to find when your just traveling through the town.

Unfortunately our room wasn't ready on arrival, despite previously discussing a 12.00pm check in and being told it wouldn't be an issue.

The floors did not appear to have been cleaned recently - my son's and our feet were filthy within minutes of taking off our shoes and there were two or three cockroaches that came out of the bathroom. The aircon heater also didn't really help remove the chill from the air as it only turned up to a certain degree and wouldn't go up higher so I spent the whole night ensuring my son would be warm and getting no sleep myself.

The beds were made up with one thin blanket which wasn't sufficient for winter and there weren't anymore provided in the cupboards either :/

Space wise good value but upkeep and general room amenities could use some work (or maybe we were just unlucky!).

It is probably because of the local mining industry that this park is nearly full of permanents with just a small number of sites for people caravan touring. Beaut ammenities, great management, but I would not recommend this as a holiday/tourist park. Overnight power site tarrif is a bit scary. The trouble is that at Singleton I don't think there is any other parks that any different.

We stayed in the caravan park side of the business. Great hospitality spotlessly clean and very well maintained surroundings. There is no highway noise although a coal train did go through early evening but the noise was not too bad. We would defiantly stay again.
