I have seen more positive reviews about the estate, I guess they had better rooms. I have also seen a lot of negative reviews complaining about upkeep which I agree seems to be a problem but it is an old building. Room was large but lacked features. No cooking facilities. There was a small sink, crockery and cutlery. There was...

Wonderful place to stay and enjoy stunning views over the estate vineyard and the surrounding hills. Excellent food is the perfect match to the locally produced wines. Interesting to visit the historical buildings and relax on the grass. Highly recommended for just a stop and go or a longer holiday.

The windows look like they haven't been cleaned for years, hard to see out. Door broken, my husband ended up fixing it. Free to air tv didn't work, the bedside clock didn't work. Wi-fi didn't work, had to go and sit near the office to get it to work. Cleanliness of the place was very poor. Room smelled musty and...

Was a great stay, was a little to rustic for some of my friends who thought this was there idea of clamping but I did enjoy our time there, yes the rooms are all a little quirky but it does add to the charm of the place, some rooms could do with a good dusting and if you are afraid of spiders bring...

This historic site is definately pittoresque but for a modern day traveller a step back in comfort. The rooms hardly lock and the furnishings are old. This fits with the history but the room was not clean. Very dusty so if you have allergies like me, this is not the hotel for you. Breakfast was poor and expensive. The wine...

Great place with a wonderful feel to it. Overlooking the vineyard and having a real friendly atmosphere. Yes of course there's wine tasting. Many very unusual rooms and cozy beds. Good food too. Good location and just off highway. I'd recommend staying here it's very quiet and peaceful.

Literally nestled amongst rolling hills, old trees and vineyards, with a view of the water just for kicks, this lovely old estate is a fabulous venue for special/family occasions. Cottages and renovated stables provide 'olde worlde' digs, spacious and comfortable, with room for small gatherings. Patios/verandahs a real bonus but take bug spray... flies are a problem. Lots of activities...

The Coolangatta Estate is a winery with B&B accommodation set in a variety of restored and new buildings from the estate built by an early Australian explorer Alexander Berry from the 1800's, The buildings have been restored by the present owners who have created them into accommodation premises inside with the details of the buildings on the outside. The premises...

I have lived in the area for 25 years and never undertaken a proper tour of Coolangatta Estate until this weekend. The winery was stunning and the tasting second to none. We had just completed a bus tour of the Illawarra wineries and Coolangatta came up trumps! Ben Bishop was knowledgeable and charismatic. He absolutely made our day!. I would...
