Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Staff were very nice & extremely helpful. We arrived in the midst of the major rain event in March 2021 with our camper trailer & they went out of their way to accommodate our big 4 wheel drive & camper trailer. We are very grateful. Room was clean & tidy. Wood fired pizzas were delicious.

Our room at Isis Motel was clean and compact and only a short walk to The Thorobred eatery and Coles. Wonderful strong hot shower was very welcome after a long day travelling and always appreciate fresh milk for in room cuppas. Thanks Glen for a friendly welcome and farewell.

I am a regular traveller for business and sometimes you get a nice surprise and this hotel is in that category.

The hotel is great value for what you get - friendly accomodating owners, exceptionally clean rooms, updated rooms, modern air conditioner and good hot showers.

This will now be my go to hotel when staying in Scone.

I stopped here on the road up to Queensland via New England and this motel fit the bill for an overnight stop and the price was good.
It's just off the freeway on the way into Scone.
Check-in was friendly and I parked in front of my room. These motels are such a nostalgic reminder of childhood road trips.
The room (#15) was large with a queen and twin bed.
It was well equipped with fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee & tea, iron & ironing board, a good size desk with two chairs, TV, Wi-Fi, armchair and bathroom.
The shower was supercharged and I could have stayed under it for a long time.
I had a comfortable one night stay and would do so again.

Check in was efficient and friendly. Room size was good. It was clean and comfortable, albeit that it shows signs of being an older motel The whole site is near the turnoff for the New England Highway, ( for convenience, but not noise). The one aspect which intrigued us was that there was only 1 tea spoon, no other cutlery, and no crockery..........despite there being a toaster.

The motel was excellent. Friendly staff who were extremely helpful, great dinner (pizzas were terrific-far too cheap), and clean facilities. We were last-minute guests due to an emergency and the staff was very accommodating even though it was pretty late, they still took our order for dinner even though they had a lot of orders ahead of us.

Easy stroll into town, clean, tidy and did the basics right. Rooms stocked with microwave, kettle etc. Certainly no complaints and would stay again.

Next time will certainly be giving the wood fired pizzas ago.

The rooms are a little dated, but absolutely spotlessly clean and very good value. The beds are comfortable, the shower's hot and there's a free laundry as well.

The staff kindly upgraded our room by themselves, which was a nice gesture.

I would definitely have no problem recommending the place and staying here again.

We stayed one night having gone to Scone rodeo. The accommodation was really clean and well furnished.
The bathroom was a little dated but clean and the towels and linen were lovely.
Check in was super easy and the location of the hotel brilliant.

We had room 10 allocated to us through an organized event. There is only enough room for 1 chair! You have to sit on the bed to eat breakfast.! Just not right to rip people off like this.
Breakfast was spot on.
Water pressure is great.
To think this shed in the middle of the complex is suitable for a couple is wrong!!

Response from Glen T, Owner at Isis Motel Scone
Responded 21 July 2018
Dear pd5639, Thanks for your review. Despite the fact that you have not clearly identified yourself and given the fact we have numerous groups stay at our motel, we are reasonably confident that you were part of the Jaguar Drivers Club group that stayed with us in June. Your group organizer came and inspected all our rooms at the beginning of May. We were then sent a list of names that were allocated to the specific rooms (we would be happy to send you a copy of the list). Your group stayed at 3 different motels within Scone. The 3 different motels operate at 3 different pricing levels. We are at the bottom of this pricing level. Your group stayed in 5 different Room Types at our motel, all of which were inspected by your group organizer a month prior to your stay. All 4 other room types are much larger than the one you stayed in. You stayed in our Budget Queen Room which is the bottom of our pricing level and is openly advertised as a room for those on a budget. This is the cheapest motel room type in Scone. You were allocated to this room type by your group – not by us. We have not ripped you off in any way as we were not responsible for you being allocated to the most basic room type across 3 motels that provided 51 different rooms to your group. Perhaps you should discuss this with your group organizer as it appears that your status within this group could be a concern. Given all this I am sure we would have attempted to assist you if you had made an attempt to discuss any issues you had while you were staying with us. Given our experience within the hospitality industry we are sure you would find that most hosts would be more than happy to meet your needs if you make the effort to inform them of any issues you have during your stay. Many of your group were lovely people and I am sure that they would have been happy to swap rooms with you if you had only taken the time to discuss your issues with us. We pride ourselves on our value for money and we think many of our other reviews support this. We appreciate that you found the breakfast to be spot on and that you enjoyed the water pressure. We wish you, your Jaguar Drivers Club and your garden shed all the best for the future. Thanks Glen & Kellie

Gosh I think the short answer is no but they are family people with their own dig in site. I am sure if you ask and add an incentive they would oblige. Lovely walking spots nearby. Enjoy your stay and your new home
