After having done a lot of driving, coming here for lunch was perfect. The service was quick, the food was delicious and the portions were generous.
It has a busy vibe which is good for families and large groups. There were a lot of people- which is always a good sign.

We were travelling through the Southern Highlands of NSW and decided to get lunch at the Robertson Inn. We were presented with a comfortable dining room in an old fashioned country pub - not flash but really welcoming. A good selection of pub food served readily. I recommend the steaks which as freshly sourced. Unlike many country pubs, there is a great selection of wines, beers on tap and some impressive international brews available by bottle - Chimay and some fine English ales. Nice desserts although one of our group thought he delightful pecan pie slice was a bit lean.

It is pub accommodation. The rooms were clean and tidy. The rooms consist of beds and a TV and that is it. Shared toilet and shower facilities so be aware of that up front. We stayed there as a stop over when having dinner at the Inn (very nice food by the way). If you need a room that is in any way luxurious then this is not the place for you however if you are used to pub rooms then these are comfortable, quiet, and clean.

This place is so nice. Large open areas to enjoy meals and to relax with cold drink. Service is great staff lovely and helpful. I ordered the pie which could have fed 2 people my husband ordered the seafood linguine and that to was delicious. We would take that stunning drive again. Beautiful little place with lots to see.

Passing through Robertson with my wife and stopped in for a nice lunch as i had thouroughly enjoyed my food here last time i came back in late june. This time it was terrible! The food took over half hour to make and they were not busy at all! The chef swearing and cursing everytime a docket was sent in. We decided to move seats away from the foul language which you could not help but notice because of his american accent, when i noticed the chef put a steak on to cook then with the same hand he had just had the steak went and served a bowl of chips without washing his hands!! My wife and myself were disgusted with the hygeine in this kitchen so we decided to leave without even finishing my beer. Very dissapointing robertson inn. Will not be coming there again.

We have been coming to Robertson every weekend for 10 years and have seen the many faces of the Robertson Pub. Ups and downs as the Pub went through various owners. It is finally owned by someone who is prepared to love it. Adrian has done wonders for the Pub. The great food is back (using local yummy beef) and the atmosphere has changed radically. What a friendly smile, coat of paint and love can do to a place! I hear the accommodation is good too. I agree with the other reviewers that it was the pits before Adrian took over. But you won't be disappointed now. Great service, great food. We are so grateful. Thanks Adrian!!

I had been to this pub last year and had a lovely lunch there (although it was just soup) and my husband loved the atmosphere so wanted to return there so we took some friends for an informal lunch yesterday. I was very disappointed. We shared an entree of tempura prawns and pork belly. My main course was fish cakes in a spicy broth. Everything was coated in a heavy crumb batter and deep fried. The pork belly was dry. The fish cakes were ok but they were sitting in a spicy sauce that was way too hot (and I like a bit of chilli) and overpowered the fish cake. On top of the fish cakes sat 3 or 4 large calamari rings which were so heavily crumbed and fried I could taste nothing else but the oil. It was awful and I couldn’t eat it most of it. The calamari all had a stringy piece which you had to pull out when you cut them. My husband had the Guinness pie which he liked. The total bill for the 4 of us was $200 which was a lot to pay for ordinary ‘pub food’. Won’t be going back that’s for sure.

On a rainy trip through Robertson en route to Fitzroy falls, we stopped in at the pub for lunch. Grabbed a high top close to the fire, where we enjoyed the pie of the day, a chicken schnittie and a delicious local beer. The food was good, the service very friendly and we look forward to another trip to Robertson to try more off the menu.

We walked in for a quick bite on a Friday and were surprised to find it was the local watering hole. A small band were kicking off the fun at 7.30 pm. Like any country store it had lots of nooks to choose from and loads of hospitality. The open fire was a blaze and the snitty Devine. Highly recommend.

We should have known to leave when there was no one in the sunroom restaurant.

Menu was very uninteresting, salads (only one on menu) that we ordered were not available.
Each meal came out staggered and separately, all at the table had finished their meal and mine had still not arrived. I decided to cancel mine when the waitress acknowledged I didn't have a meal.
All meals where of a very poor quality and tasteless.

Such a shame for such a great old pub.
