The property has recently been refurbished (ongoing), incorporating a fresh new and up to date feel whilst maintaining the charm and elegance of an era gone-by. We have rooms ranging from single (queen bed), double (queen bed), Twin share, generous one or two bedroom family rooms, as well as King bed spa units. Prices range from budget through to Superior Deluxe. We have recently added three pet friendly rooms for your fur babies. Pets are subject to management approval and the rooms are not suitable for very large dogs.
We are located off a highway and next to a park setting. Close to McDonalds and shopping centre.
Newcastle Airport is only 18 min away.

Hotel's Favourite
Stayed for one night with a large family, upon welcome the staff were very nice and reception was clean. Room was perfect, great size for a large family and had everything you could want. Shower had great pressure and was nice and hot. Beds were all very comfortable and I could not fault the housekeeping. The whole room was clean from the skirting boards to the shower, and that's not something you see every day. Décor is fresh and homely also.

We stayed over night at Sleepy Hill enroute to Byron Bay.The room was pet friendly which was excellent.The room was very spacious and had a small table and chairs.The bed was firm which was a big plus.The bathroom was fully equipped and the shower had proper temperature control.Finally,very reasonably priced at $155 for the night.

Excellent, clean, comfortable accommodation, would recommend it to anyone! We had a suite with a separate bedroom which allowed us to stay with our kids and grandchild in a happy, comfortable accommodation.

Clean room, everything you need. Best pillows I’ve slept on in motels. Best wifi I’ve ever had in a motel! Smooth checkin! They can even clean your room daily if you wanted. Nice little back seating area too.

Location was ok, as its a couple of minutes drive back to the main Raymond Terrace town centre. Not the friendliest check in at a Motel Ive had. The room was clean and tidy but dated. There wasnt much room in the family room with a queen and 2 singles in it as you had to walk sideways to go between the beds. Beds were firm and very firm on the edges where if you are a side sleeper thats where you sleep. The hot water took forever to come through in the shower. The room was serviced after our first nights stay which was good. The grounds were neat and tidy with plenty of parking.

One of the best motels we’ve stayed at in our travels! Comfy beds, clean, lots of space, everything you could possibly need! Great late check in experience, no hassles and great communication. Couldn’t fault Sleepy Inn at all - only wish there were more motels like this one!!!

Stayed for a weekend away for a wedding, accommodation was very clean. Room was large, comfy bed. I like that you had a back door that opened up to the courtyard. Staff were very friendly. Easy parking out the front of each room. Great location close to town. Enjoyed our stay.

Clean, neat, tidy and quiet. Comfy bed and pillows and a good shower. Glad I used this as my halfway stop between Melbourne and Brisbane, it will be my go-to in future. Meal options for dinner were awesome (ate at the local pub, right on the water) and the food there was awesome (had the steak, perfectly cooked). Highly recommend 👍
