Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Wonderful location right opposite Shoal Bay beach. Close to restaurants, pub, shops. Clean, well maintained grounds. We had 2 nights in a Standard 2 bedroom cabin. Modern, Well laid out with a full stove. Bathroom is on the small side but functional. No dishwasher powder or dish cloth supplied but once raised with reception problem was sorted. Faulty kettle caused power issues twice but an easy fix both times. 10pm noise curfew in place but a noisy party was still going strong after midnight. Raised with reception the next morning. Would stay again.

Great caravan park with amazing, clean amenities, right across the road to the beach and walking distance to fabulous restaurants. Good size sites (we have a 22ft caravan) our friends had an en-suite site, which was amazing also. Friendly staff

Lovely park right on the beach, spectacular outlook to tomaree headland and across the bay. Great reception, friendly, cheery and helpful, short walk down to shops bars and restaurants this one ticks all the boxes and I don't usually go into too much detail about amenities, as long as they're clean, but these are awesome, unmatched in my travels, really nice park in a good spot

Room Tip: Dog friendly park but the rest of the area really isn't, you can walk them on a leash but beach...

Great park opposite Shoal Bay beach. Close to shops and great pub. Nelson Bay and marina are just a short drive away. The amenities block is large and very modern and clean. Unfortunately the streets in the park are really skinny which makes it hard for large vans to reverse in. Overall we had a great stay.

Nice park, close to the beach and attractions, with plenty of space for kids to play. Great walk to Mt Tomaree with spectacular views, especially the morning sunrise. Cabin rooms were good, neat and tidy, shower pressure was great. Bed was super soft. Kitchen area was small but very useful.

Perfect location right across from Shoal bays stunning beach. Quick walk to restaurants in Shoal Bay including the Country Club where we had a nice meal. Park was busy but quiet, we stayed outside of school holidays. Amenities are excellent, new, clean, fantastic showers.

A lovely holiday park opposite the beach. Lovely friendly staff who go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. The ensuite site was perfectly clean as was our site. Great care is obviously taken with the park surrounds. Opposite a flat water beach and within walking distance of shops and restaurants. Definitely recommend and will return.

This is an extremely expensive camp site. It is 3 times + more expensive than most campsites around NSW. It is a great location and is kept relatively clean. The campsites are flat. However, it is very much overpriced. The campsites in Port Stephens are generally a monopoly run by the local council.

If you want to park your motorhome and be walking distance to shops, restaurants and the beach this is a great choice. This is a pet friendly, well kept park with lovely staff and excellent amenities. Shoal Bay beach is just across the road and an excellent coffee, and seafood shop an easy walk away.
