Just returned yesterday from yet another fantastic Family break at Mowbray Park. We and our kids had an absolutely gorgeous break with the peaceful surrounds, fresh country air, warm hospitality of Blair, Jacqui, Elise, Steve and Jane and all the talented ladies of the kitchen who provided us with absolutely delicious meals. We love our stays at MP and can't... More

We all felt a gap in our lives after the weekend, as I said to one of the other families this weekend set a new benchmark. I don't think I have ever seen such universal engagement by so many there were things going on all the time, we had the bikes out we went orienteering, the camp fires with everyone... More

This was our first farm stay in Australia and we loved it. It was a great family break as all the meals were included. They were all well thought out with food that was tasty for parents but worked for children too. The activities were perfect for our two little ones (farm animals, boiling billy cans on fires, making bread... More

Thank you so much for your review, we had a wonderful few days when you were here the kids enjoyed the farm and that's what we try to achieve. Pleased to hear that we met your expectations in other areas as well, its surprisingly complex this business always having an eye to the farming responsibilities (animals etc) keeping the lodges... I cannot fault Mowbray. The food, lodgings, staff, program, settings, atmosphere - were all better than I expected. AND great great value. I took my 3 young children away for a weekend & we all thoroughly enjoyed it. Even though we did all the activities I felt like I had actually had a break too! Loved it & can't wait... More

Hi Janey, we had a great time with you here, we love it when the engagement level is set to maximum! It means the world to us if we can exceed expectations, as I occasionally say farming is a history all of humanity share and its a future all of humanity needs. Your decision to bring your children to a... More

We recently stayed at Mowbray Park from Friday evening to Sunday afternoon. We had two young children (under 8 years) who both had a terrific time. The daily programme offered them the opportunity to milk a cow, hand-feed a wide range of farm animals at the nursery, go on pony rides, cook damper on sticks over an open fire and... More

Thank you very much for taking the time to review us. It is this process that pushes us forward as we strive to be the best we can be. It sounds like we were pretty close to getting it right, I have a meeting next Wednesday with the kitchen team to review menu and kids meals, should not have gotten... More

Last September, my brother had booked this place for our small and immediate family as something different and relaxing for his 50th. We all loved it... A lot!!! Upon our return, we told our children what a fantastic place it was. The animal nursery, where it is hands on for feeding some animals, the pony rides, billy tea and damper... More

Wow, thank you I enjoyed sharing this with my team as we do all reviews, always on that quest of never ending improvement. Instructions given on how to arrive, Elise was helpful and prompt in replies. The cook, Christine was very attentive and a great cook. She can remember our preferences and cooked especially for the kids. I still missed the chicken with mushroom sauce. Pony rides was great and Steve was nice and took good care of us and kids. G'day and thanks for posting a review. You've captured exactly what this place is about, children and their delight having fun with family. It's important we get all the other things right and for the most part it sounds like we have. We replaced the kettle in the lodge, if they're filled from the non drinking water tap they do... More

We had 2 nights stay in Jan16 at Farm with one of our friends family joining us. There are so many activities that two days look shorter. Staff there is so helpful. Special thanks to girls there and can't forget Steve's informative talk. Can't forget Arch'e,the Dog. My kids became friends with it. Real worth spending the money. Luxury extended... More

What a relief to hear that it is organised (behind the scenes, chaos) actually I'm joking we aim to be ourselves so that the experience you get is us at our home. I can not say often enough how neat it is to be able to share a slice of our life with our guests. Our life is not '100mph'... More
