We stayed here for a week in spring - everything was perfect (well, except for the snow but they’d had 15 cm the day we arrived so not too bad). The rooms and facilities were spacious, comfortable and tastefully decorated. Our hosts, Rosemary and Eric, were welcoming, friendly and informative and went out of their way to make things easy for us , for example offering useful tips about where to go for snow shoeing and Nordic Walking. Rosemary even shared book recommendations! We thoroughly enjoyed their hospitality and company. The food was fabulous - delicious cooked breakfast each day, with cereal and fruit options as well. A three course dinner each evening which was superb and the chef catered for my food allergy. The opportunity to interact with other guests and our hosts made our stay even more enjoyable. And we loved the mountain rosellas who came to the bird feeder each morning. Would heartily recommend Kooloora Lodge.

We’ve been coming to Kooloora with our family for the last 6 years now and absolutely love it. It’s got a lovely family and social atmosphere. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and modern with amazing views of the slopes and backcountry. The host are super friendly, hospitable and their cooking next level. Overall our experience has always been a very pleasant one. Over the years we’ve also met other beautiful families which we’ve now become friends with and choose to holiday with. This is a very social lodge with a family atmosphere so probably not ideal for those wanting more of a quiet and private setting. For our family and friends however, we’ve loved every moment whilst holidaying at Kooloora.

The lodge never disappoints every time I come to perisher. From going with my 4 closest friends in university, to going with my fiancé (which I proposed to in front of kooloora) the hosts and rooms are fantastic. There’s nothing like being able to snowboard/ski all day then return to the lodge and having a 3 course dinner ready and a comfortable room to sleep in.

Our family group has been going to Kooloora Lodge since it reopened after the major renovation. We keep coming back because the food is all included in the price and fantastic, we can BYO our own drinks, we love the location up on the hill and cafe very grateful for the skier over snow service up and down the mountain, we love the bedrooms and communal areas. Very spacious, comfortable and homey. The lodge has been very well cared for by its owners and managers and still looks as good as it did the first year it reopened. We also enjoy the company of the other guests we meet at Kooloora. We will be back for the 2020 season and highly recommend Kooloora Lodge.

Lovely recently renovated accomodation - common areas are large and open yet still retain a cozy lodge feel. The bedrooms are spacious compared to other lodges I have stayed at. The lodge managers are friendly and keep great food flowing. The included oversnow transfers were often welcome but making your own way to the lifts wasn't a bad stroll. Highly recommended.

We have stayed at this lodge for many years and it never disappoints. The rooms are comfortable and modern, the lodge is warm and friendly. The staff are always welcoming and helpful. The food is amazing, cooked and cold breakfast as well as 3 course dinners (2 course for kids). Always delicious. The over snow in the morning and afternoon is great too, as its quite a ski/walk with skis and boots otherwise. The dry room can get very busy as everyone wants to get on the over snow in the morning, but everyone gets there in the end.
