This is a great convenient manor. We usually stay at Rock Creek Ski Club which is the best location in Perisher, but The Manor is also fantastic. We had a 3 bed room which was spacious for us. Plenty of hooks TV channels were basic. And if three in a room then 3 water glasses would have been nice, Rather than 2! Dinners were delicious. 3 course was a treat each night. Breakfasts were good too. Shame the chief can’t scramble eggs each morning. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The only negative was we had to carry our luggage from the train or pay an over snow. I would have thought a hotel this size and price would have a luggage pick up service included for their guests. I highly recommend to stay here on the snow if you can afford it.

Despite the fact that the rooms are small, I had a lovely stay there. It was very cozy and had great ammenities. It was so easy to unload after a day of skiing and the drying room came in very handy. It had great value given that breakfast and dinner were both included. My friends and I had an excellent stay.

Whilst the hotel was very comfortable and very well managed, the food was outstanding with generous serveseach time. Absolutely outstanding. We were there for a week and every dinner was a culinary delight.
The chef and kitchen staff must be applauded.

We have stayed at the Manor on many occasions. We are always impressed by the way in which the staff look after the guests. This is a quintessential ski lodge - drying rooms, communal lounge areas, laundry, bar and restaurant. Its position on the mountain provides 20 step access to the ski lift in the morning and ski in, in the afternoon. It is clean, well run and tightly managed by the owners. Nothing is a problem.

The food - breakfast and dinner, are contemporary Australian and of adequate portions. The young male members of our party felt the dinners a little light on, but the three courses were definitely sufficient, nutritious and healthy.

This Manor is one of the most expensive options on the mountain, but the cleanliness, convenience and ambience of the place makes the cost a secondary consideration.

If you're looking for a real ski lodge experience, then this is the place.

Perisher resort was closed for lockdown for our booked week at Perisher Manor and the hotel only refunded 70% of the money we paid. This is not good enough. They would not transfer our booking to next year and kept $849 of our payment for one room as a ‘Covid fee’. We are a group of 12 regular skiers who will never stay at Perisher Manor.

I had booked a stay at Perisher Manor earlier this year, paying top-dollar to stay during a season with unprecedented demand. Unfortunately, due to the lockdown in Greater Sydney, I was unable to go. I notified the property as soon as lockdown was announced for the dates of my stay. They offered to rebook me for the same season (useless with the extended lockdown) or provide a partial refund.

They ended up charging me $1,578 in cancellation fees—that's more than enough for a weekend stay even in 2021!

Their T&Cs had no provisions for COVID-19, so they made up that policy after the fact (or at least didn't publish it). What is published is that no refunds are offered at all for cancellations, so I suppose I should be grateful. That is if I were to ignore the fact that such an unfair term would likely be void under Australian Consumer Law.

The location was perfect, just in front of the chairlift to the top station.
But the room was so small, and very rustic food, they were serving rare rice. I think they don't even have a decent chef.
Overpriced.
Proud Staff and Ridiculous reception services.

Overall, I will never stay here again.

We had booked the Perisher Manor for an August 2021 stay. Due to the Covid 19 travel restrictions that were enforced on Regional NSW for this period, Perisher Manor had to close. The Perisher Manor would not transfer our booking to 2022, instead forcing us to accept a 70% refund of our money... most other Chalets are refunding 100% of the bookings. We understand it is difficult times but seriously making 30% gain for no effort is highway robbery

We were there 11 days the sheets were never changed and the bed made twice. Thee room was never vacuumed.
The breakfast was the same every day. 1 egg, 2 bits of mushrooms, 1 bit of tomato and a small sausage. The lady in charge of the restaurant needs training on respect for customers. Power has gone to her head the way she speaks to guests. The rooms are tired but the Manor is situated in a great position right on the ski field.

The review is based on not being able to stay at Perisher Manor due to COVID-19. Previous stays have always been fantastic.

This year we tried twice to get there but COVID-19 meant that it was impossible on both original and rescheduled dates.

The excellent service we got from people (Jane in particular) just goes to show what an outstanding establishment it is. The compassion and way they run the business is a model for others- particularly when they are hurting due to lockdowns etc.

It's six hours drive from sydney. You could hire a car or catch a bus to Jindabyne then get the ski tube up to Perisher. You can fly to Canberra or Cooma and get a bus to the ski tube. The ski tube takes you to Perisher then you just walk across to the manor. Have a fun holiday.
