Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Our family of 5 has stayed at the Eiger three years in a row. It’s worth the $. The food and hospitality are excellent and being so close to the lifts takes all the stress out of a family ski trip. We would t consider staying anywhere else. Cant recommend it highly enough.

My family and I (parents, 8 year old and 6 year old) stayed at Eiger in early July 2020 in the Mountain View 2 bedroom Room.
Hayley & the team followed strict Covid19 protocols and our family felt safe throughout our stay.
The room was the perfect size for our family- appreciated the second room for the kids so us adults had some privacy.
The location of the chalet is excellent- it's s short walk to the Perisher Quad chair so it was easy for the kids to head back to the chalet first when they had enough of the snow.
The food was excellent and the kids menu was greatly appreciated.
The only minor complaint I'd have is the bathroom smells a bit funny but this didn't detract from our stay overall
Thank you Hayley and other staff for being friendly and helpful. They went that extra mile to make our stay special and were happy to accommodate all our requests.
We will definitely stay again!

Before you even get to Perisher the Eiger Chalet team provide you with every bit of information required to ensure you arrive in Perisher without hassle.
Ash provides the best oversnow transfer and always assists with bags.
On entering the Chalet it feels like a home away from home. Every guest in the Chalet greets you with a hello and a friendly chat about conditions always ensues.
I could talk about how amazing the rooms are and the beautifully updated bathrooms but the Eiger is all about the experience and the amazing family that run this beautiful Chalet.
I will make a rave review about the amazing food that is delivered from the Kitchen. If you are not staying at the Chalet the White Spider restaurant must be on your bucket list. 5 STAR all the way and a massive shout out to the chefs for such a culinary delight.
To Jenny, Glenn, Hayley and Adrian congratulations on creating such a beautiful Chalet which I will continue to visit year after year.
Do not let an opportunity go to stay and experience the Eiger!!!

The Eiger Chalet is so close to the lifts you can ski straight across each morning. The rooms are comfortable and the menu in the White Spider restaurant was wonderful. The staff are very friendly and helpful and really made us feel welcome. We have stayed in Jindabyne travelling up each day for the last few years but staying at the Eiger for 5 nights this “covid” year has made us think we will have to book again for next year.

We have just returned from another wonderful stay at Eiger Chalet. Honestly, the best! The chalet is immaculately presented, filled with so much genuine hospitality to make you feel like family. The staff are all amazing, service 5 star, so personable and professional. Absolutely charming experience, wouldn’t stay anywhere else! The restaurant has always been great but this year was next level! It’s a privilege to stay and share the experience with wonderful guests, young and old! Thank you Hayley, Adrian, Kaz and your amazing crew.

This is our 8th year staying with the Eiger and it never disappoints. Hayley and her crew make you feel like you are coming to visit good friends and take the time to remember your names and the rooms you stayed in last time.
I highly recommend the accommodation and the food is incredible!

The staff are always very friendly and helpful. Breakfasts and dinners in the White Spider are really tasty and hearty. The atmosphere is energetic but not frenetic. The chalet is traditional and its rooms are comfortable. With their own over-snow vehicle and easy skiing access, it is very convenient. The find of these Covid of times.

Eiger Chalet is a wonderful place to stay. It was so exciting opening the window each morning and looking out at the slopes. The Frost family and their staff are the definition of hospitable, and went out of their way to make sure our stay was great, even helping, as much as possible, with the process of getting kids in ski kit. The rooms are spacious and extremely comfortable. The chalet set up is easy and efficient in terms of ski and boot storage etc.
The White Spider restaurant was a wonderful surprise. We didn’t expect a first class food experience. We all looked forward to dinner each night and wanted to be able to stay longer to taste more from the menu! Every dish we had was exceptional. While the adults enjoyed 5 star food, the kids had quality meals they loved without the fanciness. It was perfect.
I highly recommend at a stay at Eiger Chalet.

We recently needed to very sadly cancel our trip to Perisher staying at Eiger Chalet due to COVID travel restrictions and border closures.

Hayley from Eiger Chalet responded promptly and compassionately to my communication. I could not have asked for a better response, they processed a full refund and sent clear communication of this with no additional stress or requirements from us. This was going to be our first trip to Perisher and even before our trip was intended, Hayley helpfully answered any questions I had and was happy to even help celebrate our youngest birthday which was the day we arrived.

Thank you for your professional and compassionate response, we hope to be able to re-book with you in the near future as we were really excited to be staying at the chalet.
