It's a cozy and inviting hotel nestled in the beautiful snowy mountains of Perisher. The staff are friendly, especially the 3 front receptionist girls. Jas, Hannah and Paige they are all so helpful with giving me the best ski runs and providing the best stay at perisher Valley. The rooms are comfortable, and the location is perfect for skiing ⛷️ . Overall, it's a great place to stay! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Terrible service. I felt like the staff didn’t care and were rude. In particular the lady who appeared to be running the show she was not nice at all/ The staff were very rude. Drinks service was slow and food was average. We won’t be back. We could not believe how bad it was. Worst venue in Perisher!

What do I mean? If it were down to the food and the staff only, this would be a five star review. Ditto the on-site undercover parking. However the accommodation itself is tired, so tired. Threadbare carpet, worn out beds/bedding, inefficient heating that keeps heads hot and feet cold, and the runaway afternoon heating of those rooms facing west. But worst of all are the paper thin walls/doors through which you can hear everything, literally everything! A thorough refurbishment is long overdue.

food is great but the staff are the worst hospitality team I have ever experienced. We went with a group of friends and were treated so poorly by the staff at the man. The bar staff were so bloody rude & the kitchen staff were very blunt and unfriendly

I have never made a bad review on any service before but this lot of staff where the most unprofessional I’ve seen and it cannot be left unspoken of. Worst bloody service I’ve known don’t go here if you aren’t looking for neeks as bar tenders. Waiters are rude, incompetent of waiting appropriately.

For some years, we have celebrated with other families a ski trip to either Thredbo or Perisher. One of my favorites ski destinations, and we are talking about pre-lockdown was a beautiful family run hotel, "The Man from Snowy River Hotel". Don't just take word for this, our very first trip (July 2019) to this delightful hotel was pre-booked and paid upfront. So this included all meals, drinks, kids club, ski in-n-out access, lift tickets, and they organised ski lessons and instructors. I did not have to worry about a thing. We made it to Blue Cow on windy and snow filled day. Snow heavens delivered!! There are fire works twice weekly, pure luxury in Thredbo's finest. Well done, really. We loved Perisher, and highly recommend for families.

Total rip off !! Beware of charges... we got hit with a $260 fee for a quick online booking that was cancelled due to covid 19 restrictions..... wouldn't provide explanation as to where the over inflated fee was going... no customer service

We attempted to have lunch at The Man. We ran into the same problem as last year. A difficult young lady at the entrance and this year a difficult owner who was not wearing his mask. Funny how he knew the rules but was not applying them for himself. Warning: If you are from greater Sydney but have been outside since before the lockdowns they will still not allow you in and deny service. Despite covid tests etc. They claim to follow the “gazette” but they have created their own interpretation of the rules. When they ask you to show your bank details to confirm you were outside NSW since 1st June don’t do this. Your bank details are your business. It’s their business and they san run it like they want regardless of rules. We chose a different hotel this year for the same type of hard rule interpretations last year and made the mistake to try going there for lunch. We now won’t bother to book the premises and so have 3 other families with us. Vote with our feet forever ! We however recommend the massage run by Sharon. it’s the best and the front desk seems to know how the stay at home orders work so you won’t have trouble to enter if you follow them.…

Having not stayed in Perisher on the snow before we were very excited to get a last minute deal at The Man from Snowy River. Being able to park underground at the hotel is such a massive bonus. From the moment we checked in to check out everything was AMAZING. The rooms are very comfortable and spacious and provided everything we needed. The main event for us - apart from the skiing- was the incredible food and the restaurant & bar service! WOW we were blown away with the fine dining options every evening. The quality of the food and flavours presented dish after dish were delicious - well done. The service in the restaurant and bar was also exceptional, a testament to the management team. We look forward to returning next year Adrienne & Paul

So I don't feel I can say enough. But I might. My business buddies and I were negotiating a big deal on a new crypto currency. We decided to take our dispute to the slopes. But when one was not evidently better than the other we took our converse to the man. And by God one man won. That is "The Man From SNOWY River" the wings the staff, the nachos, I couldn't pass. We forgot our whole transaction and instead decided to love our interaction. Me and my now two husbands thank the man! for bring us together. Also Emily was great.
