On the way to Melbourne with American friends we stopped at Pambula beach park after reading about the. kangaroos on site. The cabins were spotless and the staff were friendly the bed was comfortable the beach a couple hundred yards away, there are BBQ and s small shop.The park has everything you could want for a long term stay with children we would definitely stay again.

We stayed in the Superior 2 Bedroom Unit from 28th DEC to 1st JAN (4 night stay) and paid $2,486.00 so the accommodation was a little on the pricey side. The unit was dated but comfortable and had all the basic facilities you would expect. Unfortunately Wifi was terrible and at times unavailable. Our children gave the park a big thumbs up as they loved the kids club activities, playing in the pool and felt comfortable scooting around the grounds on their scooters. They also loved that the kangaroos visited our unit each morning :) Overall the park was great for a family holiday and staff were always friendly and helpful.

This park is very well situated on a gorgeous beach. The sites are large , the ensuite well appointed spotlessly clean with abundant hot water. There are several other lovely beaches nearby, several good golf courses, several good restaurants and a wonderful oyster farm. We had a restful and relaxing week there and will come back again.

Facilities Ok, but lack of WiFi at park extremes is not right. I ran signal tests, If closer to reception we could get WiFi. So please do not advertise free WiFi if it’s not available to ALL customers. It’s the 21st century. Wifi is necessary! The accomodation has flat screen TV with the ability to receive WiFi which would allow customers to cast TV channels and watch better stuff than Ch9 in the evenings. Please get the WiFi fixed so it reaches all accommodations with enough power for reliable use of the service. Or stop advertising free internet.

The cabin was ok. We stayed in an economy cabin and it was more expensive than the cabin we had stayed in at Narooma Discovery Parks, which was a superior 2 bedroom cabin and which was really good. Maybe it was because we booked at the last minute for Pambula. Both our stays were supposed to be special deals. In our cabin at Pambula, there was very little room. It was supposed to be suitable for 3, but we found it very crowded with 2. The park itself, at Pambula was quite good, with an indoor and outdoor swimming pools, but we didn’t use them. The surroundings were ok and it was very close to the beach.

This place is an amazing location on the beach but the owners are just squeezing it too much. Our cabin was ok, pretty average, but on a thoroughfare and your neighbours are very close. Good caravan parks space cabins properly but these guys have lined them up way too close. And all for $2,600 a week! Just too much and not worth it. Other accommodation nearby is a lot less with a lot more peace and quiet. Facilities are obviously a bonus for kids, and again it’s a great spot. But we just felt ripped off especially when friends told us what they paid for nearby accommodation at the same time. I guess they charge so much because they can, but we won’t pay it again.

We decided to go south for a six night winter get away, being so wet north coast. Pambula Beach Discovery Park was right next to the beach and a close walk to Pambula River inlet. We loved discovering the Mimosa National Park walking tracks, as well as, just south of Pambula, the Ben Boyd NP walks and views. The Park had Winter Deal specials which made the stay very economical, we enjoyed having not many people about. Our accommodation was cosy, comfortable and very clean. After a days walking it was lovely to get into the warm spa.

We had a wonderful 4 days at Discovery Parks - Pambula Beach, my kids were devastated to leave. We booked a Deluxe 2 bedroom spa cabin. It is a little tight with three growing children however the park facilities meant that they needn't spend much time inside anyway! The cabin was very clean and in good condition. The bathroom is huge and it was lovely to have washing facilities. The water park was a little chilly in October, the indoor pool very warm... kids still very happy in both. There's a jumping pillow, playground, The Rage Cage for ball games, craft activities some days and many great areas for bikes and scooters. We visited many local oyster farms, and stopped for lunch at Longstocking Brewery on Sunday. Live Music + lunch was a great way to spend Sunday afternoon. We will definitely be back, hopefully when it's a little warmer.

Recently had a 2 night stay at this accommodation. Found all communication and directions/instructions were great and clear via email and sms. Contactless and easy check-in on arrival and I was very happy to see the cabin spotlessly clean and well appointed. Tea and coffee making and toiletries were things I wasn't expecting but were very welcome. Located near the National Park, on the beach which was typical of the south coast ... picturesque and empty at this time of year. Its a tranquil space with plenty of native birds and resident kangaroos around. The grounds are lovely with plenty to do for families with young kids and an on-site shop and cafe (these were not open at the time of our stay). Not sure if the room I was in didn't pick up wifi signal very well, or there is some issue during certain hours? This was not a big problem for me but might concern people trying to work or study while staying here. Our trip wasn't one for pleasure or relaxation but our stay here was enjoyable and I'd recommend for anyone wanting this type of accommodation in this area.

We stayed for a few days in one of the cabins which was close to the beach and easily accessed the centre of the park. The cabin was clean and could accommodate four people so there was plenty of room for the two of us. The bathrooms were fresh looking and relatively spacious. However the queen sized bed was far too light and bouncy and the table chairs weren't that much more comfortable. There was also no way to block out the light coming through the top windows in the second bedroom. The wifi was fairly reliable and easy to access. While some facilities were closed due to the Covid situation, the closure of the office and the way someone darted out to hand some papers over and then darted away seemed a bit over the top. In front of the cabin was a lot of empty caravan bays which were just inhabited by some lazy kangaroos. I suspect in peak times it it would be pretty frantic. There are lots of activities for kids to do so this would be a very popular family destination but I would recommend upgrading some of the furniture, especially the bed.

We were there during the school holidays and there was no kids club. Unsure if that’s just maybe a Covid thing at the moment as to the reason why it’s not open. All of the activities were there were three. The swimming pools and spa, the golf, the trampolines and playground and the jumping pillow.
Hi there, Currently we have no blue bottles on the beach. The beach is patrolled on the southern end of the beach. The Camp Kitchen has cooking facilities, electric hotplates, oven, microwave, toasters, instant hot water, fridge & freezer along with washing up facilities. There are two double BBQs too. Kangaroos are everywhere and appear friendly but they are animals not trained with big claws. Would you put your face beside a big dog with sharp teeth which you did not know just because someone said Oh he won't bite?
Bluebottles have or been a problem this Summer but can be - the North wind will drive them down
Parks BBQs are free and well cleaned
There are more places to choose from in the Pambula area.
