Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We were greeted by lovely owners who were very helpful with information about the area. We stayed in our own vans, the Amenities were lovely and clean, washing machine and dryers were great at $4 a load.
The camp kitchen was well equipped with pans, electric frypan, toaster, kettle, plus heaps more a BBQ outside to cook on and lovely and clean. There was a tv, table and chairs, fridge etc, so we cooked and ate our meals there. The owner came over and closed tgeroller door to keep the wind out which was well appreciated.
Totally recommend the Merrimbula Lake Big 4 Caravan park, it may have highway traffic going past but didnt disturb us at all

A very nice gentleman greeted us when we arrived, and very kindly gave me a small discount. The place is very clean, flat, and green. The amenities block was also very clean. We highly recommend this place for a stopover.

Nice and flat. Easy to park. Concrete slab was good. Sad no apparent access to the lake side for fishing. Kids under ten out of control in showers. No parent supervision in mens. Toilet paper strewn everywhere. No toilet paper by 9am in ladies, had to byo. Only one electric coin operate bbq plate in the whole park. Park managers helpful and friendly.

Immaculate park, great facilities, superb location. Lovely and peaceful. Only 10 mins to Merimbula and 5 mins to Pambula. Showers were great and plenty of cooking facilities in the amenities hut. Nice Swimming pool although weather was a bit to cold for this. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again

The stay at this campsite was fantastic. The owner was very friendly and uncomplicated. We actually only wanted to stay 1 night, but ended up staying 3 nights. Price-performance is perfect, location is quiet and beautiful, 7 minutes to the town. Very clean sanitary facilities, kangaroos on the campsite.

Very neat, clean and tidy park with suitable sites for our 26' van. Some sites paved others grass. Dog friendly, lovely camp kitchen and a short distance to Merimbula and Pambula. Reasonably priced and would stay again.

Great little spot, very clean and tidy, New managers have made some great additions to park.

NOT recommended for families.
Older residents who live in park not welcoming and complain ALOT about children, noise, and families in general. Apart from pool, nothing for children to do.
On a main highway,not secure.
