I nearly didn't stay here based on the last review and I'm glad I did now.

Firstly I was greeted by a lovely friendly lady when I arrived. When I stated I would like to have a late checkout due to a late afternoon meeting she allowed me to stay until 11,30am despite being fully booked the next day.

There wasn't a mouse in site, The only noise I heard was waking up to the gentle sound of birds in the morning.

The grounds are very well maintained, clean and tidy with luscious green grass surrounding. The cabin was spacious with a well equipped kitchen. They even had a fruit bowl.

I'd certainly recommend this place.

I stayed here overnight last year and loved the relaxed vibe. This time I stayed three nights on purpose to soak up the relaxing energy. The park is pet friendly and my old dog thoroughly loved swimming in the river each day plus there is a new DYI dog wash in town which came in handy. The cabin was very clean and had everything necessary from cooking equipment and utensils through to aircon, large tv, ceiling fans, kitchen table and six chairs, three seater lounge. During a thunder storm it was relaxing to sit at the outdoor setting on the ample sized verandah with a cold drink and some chocolate. The staff were very pleasant and cheerful and always helpful. Access to the cabin is via a ramp and the combined bathroom toilet area is quite large.
I FaceTimed a friend while staying here and said “you only live five and a half hours away, stay here next time rather than driving to Coffs” and continued with video image of the cabin and park like grounds.
Five out of five stars from me.

A magical location after a long drive, we stayed overnight in a queen bed cabin on our way to Queensland. What a pleasant surprise the Nyngan Riverside Tourist Park is, the cabin was so quaint in its decor, the cabin was spotless and clean and it had a lovely fragrance coming in. Everything you could need was in the room, microwave, TV, cooking stove top etc the shower was wonderful and refreshing after a long day's drive and the bed was so comfy. The park itself is spacious and beautiful, the staff were so friendly and helpful. Definitely staying here on our way back

My partner and I stayed overnight on a recent trip across western NSW to NT. Nyngan Riverside Tourist park was affordable and we had our pick of spots in our unpowered rooftop tent. Beautiful park right on the river with a lovely view, vibe and lots of shady trees. There were families around and kids enjoying water skiing and riding bikes etc. Great camping kitchen and clean, hot showers and amenities. Would highly recommend, we really enjoyed our stay.

Just remember your insect repellent as there were a few mozzies given the lovely proximity to the water.

So appreciative that all cabins are dog friendly. If you don’t have a dog the cabins are immaculately clean and there are no traces of dogs being inside them so don’t be put off thinking they may smell etc.
The park is a great stop on the way to Broken Hill and the staff are very welcoming.

We stayed at the park at a powered site for 8 days in July, 2020. We had a great site with the river 20 metres from our van. The amenities were very clean and I loved how they had designed them with a rustic feel. Showers were amazing and hot. The staff were lovely and helpful. We caught huge tabbies in the river, but unfortunately no fish. The locals in town were exceptionally friendly and e enjoyed strolling into town to grab hot coffees and supplies. Highly recommend this park for a relaxing getaway.

Stayed for one night (Boxing day). The park is a lovely place for a rest stop. But I would say a 2 or 3 day stopover would be great. Nyngan is a lovely little town with the shearing museum being worth a look. I walked up to the Golf club (5-600m) to get there. Walk across the bridge turn right and walk along the levee bank. It’s not much but had $6 Schooners and friendly staff. The park is very nice and clean with good amenities. The camp kitchen had a BBQ, Microwave, toaster, kettle and fridge/freezer all were in good clean condition. I had a little swim down at the “Beach” at the park. The river and water were nice with no fast flowing currents nor was it very deep. A good chance for some fishing as well on your stopover.
Cheers

We spent the night with our boy Wally on our way home from holidays. After a long drive from Melbourne it was lovely to be welcomed to a cute air conditioned room with a comfy bed. After a good nights sleep we were on the road again when we came across some car troubles.

Luckily we were rescued by the team from Nyngan Riverside Caravan Park, who made sure we were ok and took us back to the park where we were happy to spend another night.

The RSL shuttle took us into town for dinner so we didn’t go hungry either.

Great team, great place. Would highly recommend.

Big, clean and well-appointed cabins. With two gas burners plus microwave in cabin and the camp kitchen barbecue, it's easy to put a meal together after a long day on the road. A beautiful park by the river. Dogs are welcome. Ours was well behaved, and so were everyone else's on the nights we stayed.

The cabins were not what we expected for a "trip to the outback" very spacious and clean, the grounds were well looked after and the kids loved the playground and playing in the water. 10/10 would go again!
Not to forget the Pizzas from the BP truck stop we found in the folder in our room were better than 90% of the ones we get in Sydney.
