Despite arriving in a heatwave and the cottage having no air conditioning,we survived. The following days the temperature was back down to where it should be and we had a lovely pleasant stay. The cottage is well equipped with everything you need. Beds are comfortable and big king size ones. Water pressure is excellent considering its tank water. The wildlife...

Calurla is just the best place if you want some space from the city! We usually go once a year for a long weekend and absolutely love it. It's peaceful and serene, the scenery is absolutely beautiful - It's a very special spot. The chalets are very homely, each is fully self equipped with a fire place to keep warm...

A little oasis, perfect for a short stay. Bob did everything humanly possible to ensure our stay was peaceful and enjoyable. Highlights include the log fire and the verandah overlooking the peaks of Border Ranges National Park. It made an excellent base to visit the local National Parks and the Nimbin area.

A lovely welcome by Bob (owner) & his two dogs Jack & Harvey when we arrived, felt like long lost friends reunited. After such a long drive it was great to stretch the muscles having a game of fetch with Jack while the men chatted. We booked a one bedroom cottage which was very spacious, clean, comfortable & well equipped....

Stayed here recently whilst visiting family nearby, in one of the one-bedroom chalets. What a great find! The chalet was lovely, very well appointed and comfortable. We especially enjoyed sitting on the balcony with a cuppa or a glass of wine, soaking in the fantastic view right down the valley, over the surrounding national parks and Mount Warning in the...

DOG FRIENDLY! We stayed in the bottom cottage at Calurla Chalets with our three elderly dogs. We loved it, so did the dogs. Peace and quiet, beautifully appointed, lovely outlook, and friendly people whom we only saw when we wanted to. Good price too. Close to Nimbin, which you should visit if you haven't been.

We were pleasantly surprised with this accommodation, which was spacious, well equipped and very comfortable. we had a wide veranda on two sides of the house which overlooked the garden and the Border Ranges National Park mountains. Had a fire place which was well used during our stay. Kitchen was well equipped. Mobile phone signal (Vodafone) was a bit intermittent.

My partner and I love doing weekend getaways to cottages. This one was new to use but very reasonably priced. It was clean and had everything you needed inside. The bed and pillows were very comfortable! We brought our own groceries so we could make dinner and breakfast. The owners were very kind and lovely. They stocked the fridge with...

Stayed in the one bedroom cottage for 7 nights. Excellent location. Clean, comfortable, well equipped, quiet, restful. Spectacular mountain views from the bedroom and veranda. We've really enjoyed our time here and needed neither the air conditioning nor the log fire. Would definitely come again.
