Lovely little motel near the ocean. Clean and spacious. Full kitchen with all utensils needed. We took a short 3min drive to Shoal Bay which was beautiful, however you could easily stroll down to the nearby beach from the motel. The pool and BBQ area looked clean and like they’d be great in summer! Kids also loved the big spa bath with shower. We arrived late afternoon and a key was left in a lock box by reception which was easy, then we met with Chris the next morning to check-in. Chris was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area.
Only things to mention would be: No aircon in bedrooms. No smart apps on TV (free-to-air or DVD only)

This is a great place for couples and families. The unit was clean and well maintained.
The swimming pool with spa was a good size for everyone.
Our unit had a small ramp for wheelchair use, so if you have a disability, this is a great place to stay as they have catered for you.

I stayed at Beaches Serviced Apartments for three nights.
Besides a couple of very minor maintenance issues that I advised the onsite manager of, this was a very enjoyable stay.
I was is Apartment 7, which is one Bedroom and all I can say is that it was a beautifully appointed and presented apartment.
The kitchen and appliances were all in great condition and good working order. Their were plenty of utensils and tableware.
The lounge was very comfortable and the large HD TV was excellent for watching NSW win the 2nd round of the NRL State of Origin. Their was also a TV in the bedroom. It had a large balcony with a table and 4 chairs.
Having a washer and dryer was also a great advantage and saved a trip to the local Laundromat.
Even though there was a little noise around the pool during the day, the apartments were really quiet at night. The pool was warm and inviting as it is solar heated.
With the West Diggers a club just around the corner, it was a great location. I will definitely stay here again when next in Nelson Bay.

We have been visiting Port Stephens for over 17 years and this has been the best place we have stayed at. Our one bedroom apartment felt quite luxurious and modern. Everything was thought of to make our stay comfortable and relaxing. See you again in the warmer months.

We stayed for 2 nights just a week after Easter weekend, quiet property even though it was fully booked. Cant really hear the noice from the neighbours or people from the pool (staying in the second floor unit overlooking the pool).
Reception guy very nice and friendly, spacious units and there’s everything you need in the apartment.
I’ll probably wouldn’t stay here on a hot summer coz the rooms only have ceiling fans (aircon on the lounge but)
Didnt give it 5 stars because saw a couple of small cockroaches in the toilet and out the stairs maybe the property needs pest control or something. But overall with the price, location and service, i will highly recommend it.

No-one at reception on arrival but telephone number on the door was answered promptly and we were given the key box code. It seems a text won't work as we have a UK number. No problem.
Lovely spacious apartment. We had a balcony overlooking the pool, which was never noisy thankfully.
It helps that it's only a small property of 12 units.
The apartment was very well appointed and certainly had everything we needed for a three night stay.
Comfy bed and quiet to sleep.
Internet very stable and had no trouble connecting.
When we first arrived I thought we might be further from points of interest than I had anticipated but it was actually very easy to walk to the Inner Light Tea Rooms, the waterfront and the town. We did take the car when grocery shopping as it would have been a fairly long walk with heavy bags from Woolworths.
We really enjoyed our stay.

This is my second time at Beaches. Both times accomodation is good that's why I returned once again. My only complaint in the four days I stayed in January 2020 the pool was not cleaned leaves in the pool and water getting cloudier each day . The grounds are unkept leaves under outdoor tables and rooms. Bbq kept going out. Cobwebs everywhere on glass doors bbq area. Management needs to employ a groundsman on a daily basis in peak periods.

Loved it.
Large, spacious and beautifully set out room, with Kitchen, Bathroom separsate Bedroom, all large, well-lit and modern.
We had a second-floor apartment overlooking the Pool, which was clean and well maintained. Plenty of lounge chairs to sit on around the pool, with a large BBQ area along side.
5 min drive to the Town Centre, Supermarket around the corner. Only stayed 2 nights wish it was longer.
Highly recommended and will definitely be returning. 5 Star.

Beaches Serviced Apartments 12 Gowrie St was the base for our 12 day stay. We chose Beaches for its amenities and proximity to Little Beach. Pricing was competitive for 4 star accommodation. Changing linen during our 12 day could have bumped lol my score.

Stayed in a two bed apartment with family (w, 3.5yo and 20mo). Location is good and away from the busy Nelson Bay Area but a short walk to Little Beach. Good access to Shoal Bay and Fingal Bay too.
Accommodation was clean and comfortable for the value of accommodation however the carpet may have traits good steam clean. Pool was clean and fun for the kids.
Parking can be a bit tight in the car park if you haves large 4WD and smoking is allowed on premises which was disappointing as other people’s smoke would waft though our open balcony door. Also the adjoining neighbours are very loud talkers. We stay in unit 8
Staff are friendly and attentive
Bonus was having wifi and Netflix available for the kids.
