Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We stayed here for Dubbo was booked out, it is close to the main street and clubs / cafes, the rooms are basic but good enough for a nights stay.
Its close to the road , so rooms are noisy , the bed was a bit to hard for me.
Staff were very friendly and booking in was easy.

My wife and I love the people and the wonderful expansive and enthralling landscape of western New South Wales after having lived and worked in the Bourke region.
It was great to return to drink in the sights and experiences of the West.
Having the excuse to transport a friend to her family we determined to support some of the local businesses.
We are very happy with our choice to stay at the Peppercorn Motor Inn at Narromine.
The staff were friendly and helpful.
The room was clean and well presented .
The catering for our Dinner and Breakfast was typical nourishing and tasty country fare.
We would recommend a stay at this Motor Inn for anybody visiting the area.

The Peppercorn was located conveniently for our travel needs. It is an older style establishment, which we didn't mind as our room was spacious, with some renovations. Our room was close to the highway, with intermittent toad traffic noise at times. The bed was rather firm but provided a fair night's rest. Most of what we needed was provided and the standard of cleanliness was good. Service was pleasant and good and the value for money also good. Overall rating was good to very good.

Room needs updating and some fresh air, sheets and towels did not smell clean, toilet seat lid broken, no hairdryer, toiletries, powerpoint or fan in the bathroom. Curtains ripped and exposed water and electrical pipes on the wall. Parking very tight, very noisey as it is between two main roads, Poor insulation between rooms. Wifi weak security/not secure. Not close to eateries.

Furniture needs updating, perhaps replacing the lamp and curtains, however nice and clean , freshly painted living area, bathroom fairly new.
Couldn’t fault, everything worked well. Had a great sleep..price very reasonable. Nice town.

Only stayed one night, thank goodness. Our room looked tacky, bathroom smelt, couldn't say it looked clean. Put drinks jn the fridge and they were still not cold by morning. Bed not comfortable and the single bed in the room was terrible. Ad says every room overlooks lovely gardens, definitely not true. We were actually charged more than the advertised price.
The bedspreads look old and tired as did everything about the place.
Pretty noisy as right on the highway also.
We were happy to leave and will not return.

Stayed at Peppercorn Inn in Narromine this week and would advise anyone else to stay clear of this motel. It’s outdated, with unfriendly staff and unclean! Got severely bitten by bed bugs and the staff didn’t seem too concerned about that.

There was a wild party outside the office rooms and then an awful argument in the wee hours of the morning. Screaming and shouting and very bad language. Not happy at all. the motel is quite run down and in need of TLC which is obviously lacking.

Travelling for work and stayed at the Peppercorn for 2 nights. My room was spacious with parking at the door and an easy walk to cafes, RSL, supermarket. Unfortunately the motel is on the corner of 2 highways and the noise of the trucks travelling through did not stop all night. Room is dated and in need of an upgrade, particularly the bathroom.

As a glider pilot I have been staying at the Peppercorn Motor Inn since 1981, but had some problems over the last few years, just personality based.
Happily there is a great new management there now, Bill and Bianca Walker, who I found just ideal, lovely, personable, genuine. Nothing was a problem at all.
And the room (and bathroom) had been done up, an extra benefit.
Highly recommended once more!
