Everything was fabulous and the hosts Kerrie and Bill are the most beautiful and genuine people you will ever meet. The property is in a peaceful location and very close to the Narooma shopping precinct. We are already planning our next trip to Narooma.

I shared a room with 2 other backpackers. Felt like an upgrade. Essentially motel accommodation for backbacker price. New owners were amazing & continued to just charge me the same discounted rate, I was getting charged from online yha e plus pack. Kitchen, lounge & telly room lovely. I much preferred Naroomba to Batesman Bay, Jervis Bay etc. It was the highlight of my Brisbane to Melbourne eastcoast road trip (places I hadn't already been) Unfortunately a fellow backpacker's bf had passed away suddenly, which put a very sad sense to the stay. It was great to see us all work together to try & get a stranger back to Germany in such terrible circumstances. Exceptional place to stay. Pay backpacker rates, get a hotel like stay. Lovely old fashioned service & cleanliness. Owners worked very hard & clearly took much pride in their work. Wouldn't stay anywhere else. Delightful stay despite the circumstances.

Narooma Motel YHA is great value. We walked everywhere from the motel so it is in a good position. The relatively new managers are a great team, Les and Janette. They are friendly and knowledgeable about the local attractions and restaurants. We booked our trip to Montague Island trip through them and saved 10%. The YHA has a nice kitchen and Woolworths is only 500m up the road. Our room was spotlessly clean as was the kitchen. The room is smaller than more modern motels but the bed is comfortable and met all our needs. I definitely recommend this motel for a short or long stay.

Reception is unfriendly, like you"re a nuisance or something! Courtesy costs nothing! I won't be staying here again! It was almost an effort to talk to me or look up my booking details. The dollar price is right but being made to feel unwelcome is not a price I'm.willing to pay.

This motel is conveniently located on the highway, just on the edge of town, and the suite was clean, if a little crowded. I liked the separation of bedroom from kitchen area, but the TV was on the wall in the bedroom, which left nowhere other than the bed for watching TV.

The bathroom was a little crowded, and there were no toiletries provided (lucky that I always carry some just in case).

Compared to some others, I think it is a little overpriced, but not too bad.

Horrific, disgusting, dirty place. Would not stay there ever again. We booked 2 nights and after first we left. This is not even one star place. Please avoid as the cleaning standards there are horrendous. Also forget about the wifi- apparently it dosent work because of the clouds 🤣

I have stayed here a few times over the years, always as part of a group of divers to access Montague Island to dive with the seals. The previous owner / managers were always so welcoming & accommodating that I thought it would be hard to match when I heard there was new owners. However, the new owners are just as endearing. Nothing is too much, & they were very friendly.

I have always stayed in dorm rooms previously, but this time I had my own room. It had a double bed with ample room, a storage shelf for my suitcase & a hanging rack with coathangers. The bathroom is very economic with the space, but the shower was surprisingly powerful & hot. I was able to park directly in front of my room, great for lugging the dive gear around.

The kitchen is well equipped, & the lounge / common room is a great area to socialise. A great spot to dig in to the local Tilba cheese with a glass of red. There is also a 'drying room' for anyone who needs to hang up soggy dive gear.

This YHA / motel is a little way out of town, so having a car/bike would be ideal, as it is only a couple minutes drive to the shops. Five mins drive to the water.

This place is basic, but it's clean & welcoming and it has everything you need for a getaway. I will continue to return :)

This motel, has just changed management 5 weeks ago ....

The huge big plus in this motel, is that because there is a Youth Hostel also on the same premises, means that there is a fully stocked kitchen on site.

So good, and so rare, to be able to stay in the comfort of a motel ..... TV, wifi, ensuite etc, but with full access to a kitchen !

I didn't expect motel quality at a youth hostel! Very happy with my room, which was an absolute bargain at the price. Clean, comfortable and it had everything I needed. The hostel is a little bit of a walk out of town, but there are some great tracks. And don't pass through Narooma without visiting the wonderful old cinema!
