Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Great for value! I’ve stayed here 4 times now over the last 2 years. Cheapest accommodation and suitable, very noisy when busy but that’s to be expected. The bathrooms are terrible, but again you get what you pay for. I’d give the cleanliness of the bathroom a 6/10. The sink is minuscule and the toilet is crammed in the corner with the sink infront, with not much room.
Unfortunately for us the bed was ROCK HARD. My boyfriend could not sleep on it due to how hard the mattress was, he ended up booking elsewhere the last night because he had such back pain from the bed.

All in all it’s the perfect motel for on a budget or just stopping for a night. Not too loud considering where it is, and perfect walking location to Woolies and some other shops. 20 minute walk to the beach or a 3 minute drive.
Never once saw a staff member.. wouldn’t have a clue who manages it.

Staff were really friendly. Handed out torches when the town had a blackout.
Great price and just what you need. Close to the supermarket and quiet spot.
Great for families with kids or just solo. Will definitely stay here again in the future when I visit.
The only downside was the hot water took a really long time to even get warm.

The motel is starting to get a little old and could do with a little renovation.
But it has advantages like the quality of the bedding.
Complete room equipment, fridge, air conditioning, etc...
Flexibility for check-in with key boxes with code.
David's kindness and availability.
In short, it's not very cocooning but it's still a good plan for a stopover on the coast.

The room was disappointingly dirty upon arrival, with slippery floors posing a significant hazard. Adding to the frustration, there was no staff onsite to address these issues, and attempts to contact them went unanswered. Regrettably, my father suffered a fall in the bathroom due to the unsafe conditions, exacerbated by a broken towel rack. As a seasoned traveler who has frequented various motels across Australia, I can confidently say that this establishment ranks among the worst I have encountered.

Hi Sarah, Thank you for your review. We appreciate your feedback as we continue to update and improve our hotel. Upon inspection of the room post stay, no towel rack was found broken. We are unsure how this would occur. In any event, a towel rack is only for hanging towels and should not be used to hold onto for support. Rest assured all floors have been built in accordance with the appropriate regulations. Our team whether onsite or not, are always available to assist and will return any unanswered queries or calls. We are continuing to improve Tree and do welcome you to stay with us again. Kind regards, Team Tree Motel

Very disappointed. After trouble booking in on the "book in yourself system" we found the interior had not been vacuumed. There was a huge spider web and black spider in the window in the bathroom. The toilet bowl was black and there were mop strings all over the carpet. The fly screens in the bathroom were filthy and had not been cleaned. The bed was not secure and kept rolling into the middle of the room. Had to prop the wheels of the bed to stop it rolling. The swimming pool was full of leaves and not very appealing. Very unsatisfactory. Will not stay there again.

Stayed for 3 nights. First night was late gettibg in due to a car accident. They left key in a spot and we settled with them the next day. The owners were very nice. Room was comfortable. The motel has a pool and bbq facilities and had a dvd collection to watch if needed. The motel was just a little outside town. But woolies and a coffe shop was a 5 minute walk.
I will stay thete again if i visit Narooma again. Thabk you

Rooms definitely need updating. Room smelt very old and dusty. Ceiling fan covered in dust. Bed very old and uncomfortable. Linen was clean. Owners very nice. Walking distance to supermarket, chemist, medical centre and newsagent. Need transport to go anywhere else. Outdoor area and bbq area needs to be cleaned up also.

Even though the room was on the smallish size, it was clean and comfy, including the beds. A great feature was the separate wire door. Safety whilst letting the breeze in. All units were ground level. Parking outside the unit doors and a table and chair set. There is a swimming pool and bbq area. Tv was good as was the wifi. Air conditioner was very good. The only ‘criticism was the lighting , could have done with a flurouecent over the bench.

This place is awesome. Spotlessly clean room, quiet and so well priced. Brian and his wife are just the loveliest people you could have the pleasure of meeting. We only stayed one night, wish it was longer. Cant believe people have complained about too many leaves in the outdoor area. Its coastal for goodness sake. We will be back again. Love this little gem.

If one is after a Motel on the cheap side then this your spot. "A bed, a chair and one door" type of stay. Bedspreads that never feel a breeze, ceiling fans covered in all sorts of previous one nighters, A/C in situ right above the kitchenette sink with a fluro next to it. A BBQ area that looks like it's seen better days, more like a hoarders squat. If the owners only spent more time cleaning the property than buying more concrete statues it might be a tad better than the rating given. Left a request upon booking that never got answered and sent an email as well which fell on deaf ears. To put it mildly, I think these owners are lucky that "booking.com" give them money easily because if one had to pay it might be difficult parting with this price!
Sorry, very low standard indeed. Need to lift their game desperately.
