Perfect and peaceful place to relax and take in the wonderful surrondings. My wife and I spent a week there but could easily have stayed longer. Our Son, Daughter in law and two Grandchildren joined us for the weekend and the staff were only too happy to accommodate them. We enjoyed the ideal location, only a 10 minute drive back...

Like quieter places . Chanced on the sign as we headed toward the bay and drove in to check out for accommodation . One cabin free which we were invited to inspect before renting. One of 6 cabins set in most beautiful surroundings. Bird life amazing. Owner left a pot of seed to feed the parrots if we wished. Close...

It was just starting to rain when we arrived. Thunder. lightning. We had the last cottage closest to the bush track leading to the secluded beach. Soon we had a roaring fire to enjoy as the storm set in. A glass of good SA red and and the latest Michael Robotham to read...glad we packed those! What a pleasant place to...

The outlook and view from these cottages is beautiful. The cottages are tired and need a spruce up. Disappointed that there is no air con and only 1 fan. The verandah only has 2 chairs although the cottages sleep 4. I feel that the price tag does not reflect the condition of the cottages.

We had a very restful stay here at Mystery Bay, the cottage was well equipped clean and comfortable BUT must agree with a previous comment ,they are in need of a SPRUCE UP. We would stay again BUT come on guys mow your grass and give that poor verandah a coat of PAINT. Just small things but in my opinion...

Perfect place to unwind and relax. This is my second visit and it is just as I remembered. The cottages are equipped with everything you need including birdseed to feed the abundant locals - the birds will eat out of your hand! The wildlife is a delight, saw a little potaroo (I think) and a possum on my front deck....

A perfectly relaxing and peaceful holiday only a short walk from the beautiful Jimmy's beach. A glass of wine on the balcony enjoying the sunset and feeding the birds was a daily ritual. Comfy bed and open fire kept us cosy at night. Would definitely recommend.

Last weekend we had our third, or was it our force, stay at Mystery Bay Cottages. There is no need for me to repeat the descriptions of the cottages and the settings given by others at this site. I am surprised at the comment by someone that the cottages need refurbishment or refreshing, from what I have seen they are...

Had a few days stay here just to relax and get away from it all for a while and you can certainly do that here, the owners make you most welcome and are more than helpful no matter what the request may be. unfortunately though the cottages are now a little dated and in need of a top and tail...

we wanted a couple of days away and found these cottages near Narooma (NSW). They are fully self contained and are very comfortable. We had a 2 bedroom cottage and it was extremely spacey. Although it is a rural property, it is quite close to the beach (around 400 metres) and there are many short walks close by. The cottage...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
"We've discovered some breathtaking places together... but Mystery Bay Cottages will forever be remembered as one of the best." - Eamonn Duff, Sun Herald. These 6 architect-designed cottages are located in one of the most beautiful settings imaginable - nestled between National Parkland and award-winning beaches. They are airy and spacious with high-raked ceilings and provide everything you need to make your stay as pleasurable as possible - log fires (wood supplied), electric blankets, TV DVD player, full kitchen, laundry, comfy sofas and dining suite. There is also heating throughout the cottage. There are 2 bedrooms - a queen room and a twin room and a single fold-out bed if required. We provide all linen, towels, tea & plunger coffee, toiletries and even bird seed for your own bird table (the wildlife is spectacular with rare birds, echidnas, possums and wallabies). We have a full-sized tennis court (equipment provided at no charge), a games room (with table tennis, table soccer, table air hockey, books, magazines, DVD's and kids toys) and a floodlit covered gas BBQ area. High chairs and travel cots are also provided free of charge. And being only 4.5 hours south of Sydney, 2.5 hours from Canberra and between Narooma and historic Tilba our location is perfect - the peace and tranquility you dream of with everything within a stones-throw.
