Spacious room with everything you require. Cleanliness, comfort, location, value for money and attention to detail makes it an ideal place to stay. Our breakfast which was included in the price was extremely generous. Special mention goes to Darrin for his amazing home made bread and home made jam and to Sharon for her friendly helpful and welcoming hospitality.

I was looking for a stopover on my way to Queensland and thought I would find a suitable B & B in this area. I took a chance on this establishment and I wasn't disappointed. There are 3 rooms available and I decided on the Queen room, which had the separate bathroom across the hall. It was a nice set up and having the detached bathroom is better than having an ensuite attached, as it was a larger area but still private. I made good use of the bath after a long days drive from Sydney. The downstairs common area was large and inviting, which I didn't really use it because of my one night stay. It would be very handy if I was staying for a few days or more. The B & B is located a little bit back from the river and the main road, which means there were no traffic or noise issues and a short walk up a hill didn't worry me at all. It gets busy in the school holidays and the restaurants can get booked out, so I had dinner at the golf club nearby. That was a good decision. It would have been a pleasant walk to the club, but it was too cold and dark to walk along the river in the Winter months! Breakfast was great that morning and the host was very pleasant to deal with. It is hard to say anything negative about my experience and booking with them direct saved me a few dollars. I would stay here again.

The place was spotless.
The Hosts made you feel welcome as soon as you stepped foot in the door.
The Breakfast was cooked fresh and was a great way to stay the day.
The facilities are new and are kept as such.

Stayed one night on they way to the Sunshine Coast. It was one of the best B&B’S we have stayed at. Sharon was very welcoming and helpful. The room was spotlessly clean warm and comfortable with so many little extras. Breakfast was delicious with the choice of continental including homemade bread and homemade strawberry jam or a hot breakfast. Great location 10min walk or a few minutes drive to good restaurants and coffee shops. We enjoyed our stay so much we will stop for two nights on our way home !!!!

What a great place to stay! Never been anywhere so clean and tidy and host Sharon was extremely helpful, telling us about local attractions and recommendations for dinner. Very conveniently located. Our room was quiet and spacious as was the bathroom, the bed very comfortable! Great guest facilities including a menu of beveridges in our room fridge. Can highly recommend and will definitely return.

We arrived mid afternoon and were greeted warmly and genuinely. The rooms were all very clean and inviting. My husband had never stayed in and B&B and was initially very unsure, but he was quickly sold. The bathroom was private, large and well appointed. The bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was delicious. The home made breads and jams were amazing. I would recommend this property to couples.

I was fortunate enough to stay at Riverside Rest for 2 weeks. The service was impeccable, the room was comfortable and exceptionally clean and the breakfast was great. Sharon and Darin provide a homely environment and I always felt like I was family and not just a guest. I would highly recommend staying there. Five out of five from me.

What an an amazing place to stay. Sharon (host) was so welcoming and helpful, pointing out great spots for an evening meal or good swim spots.

We stayed here for 3 nights and Sharon made sure our stay was comfortable and gave us plenty of tips on activities. Room was cleaned everyday with fresh towels which was a pleasant surprise. Delicious cooked breakfast were part of the rates. Gluten free options were also accommodated. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay at the riverside should we be in that area again!

My husband booked a night online. Sharon phoned back to enquire if we had any Service NSW vouchers to use before they expired - and we did. This was very thoughtful and proactive of her. The room was spotless and comfortable. Breakfast was also very good - be sure to try some of Darren's strawberry jam. We couldn't resist buying two jars as we left. it is also close to the town centre and in walking distance to restaurants. Only thing to be aware of is stairs at the front and to the first floor, where the rooms are. Sharon was very willing to get our suitcases up for us, and in a few years, we will accept the offer. I believe there is a third parking spot that avoids the front stairs. Highly recommended with very pleasant and welcoming owners.
