Hit hard in the floods 2 years ago this poor park needs a new owner. It’s up for sale and really needs a tidy up to get it to a tidy condition. If you are a motorhome owner and walking to town after setting up camp be prepared, it’s a 25 to 30 minute walk in comparison to a 5 minute drive. At $30 a night it’s not bad but I feel if the price was dropped then it would be more worth the stay.
Currently visting the area on a well over due holiday from Sydney. Stayed in some of the best 5 star hotels across the city SYDNEY , ( shangri-la on floor 24 $600 for the night night in saying this my stay there the hot water couldnt be fixed , half way through the night the phone system went down and one other incident i currently cant recall, I got a complimentry breakfast in the VIP lounge for my terrible experience at one of sydneys TOP end hotels) SO when you come to stay at GREENHILLS CARAVAN PARK you get a very open welcome, choose your own location that suits you & your family ( HOW great is that !!! ) I love Hot showers i wake up to a day with a hot shower to start my day and one to bunkdown for the night <every single time iv used the shower block its CLEAN, TIDY and the HOT WATER IS HOT - such a relaxed and beautiful part of nature to wake up to 'Peaceful & Quiet with the sounds of a rain forest in the background. oh and maybe lunch time you could hear my laughing because at 25- 30 $$$$$ a NIGHT -- how could you not be happy and enjoy a very pleasant stop on your travels !!! For your own experience its certainly more then VALUE FOR MONEY !! HAPPY AND SAFE TRAVELS TO ALL (((dont miss out on a wonderful relaxed little spot that i certainly have enjoyed.))).…
We are currently staying there at the moment! Owners are very friendly and quite easy to get on with! Whilst the amenities r quite old they r always clean! It’s obvious that the floods have affected this quite caravan park but the owners r doing everything they can to get it up and running again! I think the people that have given this place a bad review should get there head out of there stuck up arse and give the owners a go! Good quiet place to stay!
Look - if you are looking for modern - keep going elsewhere Caravan $30 a night - the Showgrounds are $25 but we couldn’t get in This park is run down after the floods and needs a lot of work Pick your own site - stay away from the permanents - bat crazy Amenities are cleanish but please get rid of the cobwebs Lawns need mowing and how hard is it to fix the clothes line??? Caretakers are pleasant enough but .... No official dump point - it’s a bloody drain with a witches hat over it.... Positives- it’s a great base to see all the attractions around here - rain forest on way - beaches the other Would I come back - only if it’s cleaned up
As the only caravan Park in the town, Greenville hads the market by the short and curlies, but it fails miserably in being attractive. Checking in was fine and the instruction to " just pick any site" seemed great, so off we went - we selected a site and began lining up to back in, when a resident warned us we would be better off in another location. Taking his advice we chose an indicated site and set up, then explored. Perhaps we should have done this before paying for two nights! The Park was generally untidy, with unmowed grass, potholed roads and old and horrid amenities - that were not clean by any standards and also were inadequate for the number of sites. This is really a pity as visitors want to visit the townand the alternative of the showgrounds was booked out, in hindsight we should have waited for a site there.…
