Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The motel has been recently fully renovated and very tastefully with quality fittings throughout. Manager Vickie was great, showed us to the room and quickly explained how the provided facilities worked . Room had a hotplate, convection microwave , crockery & cutlery if we wished to eat in, great balcony where we sat and enjoyed the view over a drink & nibbles. Ideally located with a 10min walk to beach, golf club or town centre, or 1 min car trip.

Was in town for a friends wedding and had the absolute pleasure of staying here over the weekend. From the second we arrived we were accommodated for with warm and friendly customer service. The room was great and recently renovated; clean throughout with appropriate amenities, the doors leading to the balcony means you receive a beautiful breeze and can see the ocean too. I have already raved about Mollymook Motel to other friends and family as it was a memorable stay. I would absolutely return!

My partner and I enjoyed our stay at Mollymook Motel; the rooms were clean, recently renovated and well equipped. The sea view room had a lovely view. The location was good, we walked down to Mollymook beach & golf club in less than 10 mins and collers beach in about 5 minutes with the shortcut through the gold course. The receptionist was so so lovely and helpful throughout our stay and was a ray of sunshine.

Would stay again

Room was beautifully clean being recently renovated BUT being on the noisiest intersection on the South Coast you couldn't have the doors open due to the unrelenting traffic noise. Trucks and cars from the highway side and local traffic on the Mollymook side. The rooms on the Mollymook side would possibly been less affected.
Further, no ironing board/iron, no writing utensils and note paper and no tissues!
Wouldn't stay here again due to the traffic noise.

Let’s start with the best things about this place.
1. The check in was seamless and super warm, friendly and a personable welcoming.
2. The room is a brand new reno. Looks smashing all utilities are new. The bed is super comfy with crisp linen.
3. You can hear and see the ocean from your balcony.
4. So conveniently located to the beach, (by car 2mins), the club, and Milton and Cupitt’s winery down the road.
5. Tip- if you make your booking through ‘ bookings’ on your phone online even a cheaper rate.
6. You can hear the traffic on the main street but only if you are a light sleeper. Take some earplugs if you are noise sensitive.
7. Lastly a super hot tip- eat delicious, freshly served food at a cafe called Nomah Foods in the Main Street of Milton. It’s run by a young polite young man called Hanson and his lovely girlfriend Skye. Help support small businesses. You will not be disappointed!! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Great location, easy to find & park. Vicki the manager was well organised and very friendly. Our room was bright, clean and of modern design, well laid out. The bathroom was recently installed, very good quality workmanship, with lovely complementary toiletries.

Vicki, the manager was amazingly helpful and nice. The rooms were newly and beautifully decorated with a great view. It was all relaxing. Vicki also provided good advice on local places to eat.
Close to the beach in Mollymook, this 1960s motel has been completely renewed and has a laid-back beach vibe with lovely interiors. Kitchenette if you want to cook and the view of the water in the distance

I booked this accommodation for a group of us and everyone was very happy with their room. The rooms have all been recently refurbished and have lovely views.
Vikki was extremely helpful with suggestions for breakfast, lunch & dinner venues as well as a lovely spot to have a coffee and do some work. There are a few of us who plan to return with our partners for a weekend getaway. Great staff & great location

An absolutely wonderful 2 nights at the most gorgeous place. An absolute gem. As soon as we arrived late at night we walked into a warm, homey room that showcases a boho theme throughout. I am so glad that we chose to stay at such an amazing site and not to mention the views are amazing.

Overnight stay at this property. Vikki was extremely accommodating from the time of booking (had to change my room prior to arrival) all the way to check out.
The newly refurbished rooms are lovely. Comfy bed, nice and clean.
The kitchenette was perfect as I cooked my own meal.
Thank you Vikki for being so welcoming and I’ll definitely be back!
