It's not grand and it's not in the country it's Perfectly nice motel accommodation with delusions of grandeur, overpriced as it is a little dated and on a busy road with poor sound insulation. Also it is on two floors with no lift

Pleased you found the accommodation nice. This property has been known by the current name for many years & is a landmark in our country town of Mittagong. It is most unusual for motels in Australia with 2 floors to have a lift. Had we been aware you needed help with luggage we would have been more than happy to...

A really pleasant stay after a wedding. We were greeted warmly by staff. Room was extremely clean and comfortable. Bed was a little uncomortable, maybe mattress could be attended too. Was lovely and quiet. Enjoyed our breakfast. A little on the dearer side, but very nice. Thankyou.

My family travel from Victoria to Terrigal NSW every year. It's our Northern sea change migration. We also normally stay at the Best Western Grand Country Lodge every year too. There are a number of reasons for this. Firstly, Mittagong is a cute town, lots of trees, good restaurants to eat at, and a Dan Murphys!! Within Mittagong, we've stayed...

Thank you for taking the time to review your stay with us. So pleased you enjoyed our facilities. There are plenty of great restaurants, clubs & pubs to choose from for meals. "Uncle Dans" is always a must when choosing where to stay! Betty

We stayed here overnight while travelling up the coast. Easy place to stay. Our family of 5 were accommodated comfortably. The room was spacious ( we had a connecting room/ apartment style) for all of us and clean and tidy. Breakfast was available in the dining room. No evening meals on site but plenty to choose from in town.

Very nice, clean hotel. Rooms are dated but tidy. Staff is very helpful and attentive to your needs. The small town is quite cute and offers a number of good restaurants. We ate at an Indian restaurant which was excellent and they offer a number of coffee shops as well.

Great king bed and room was very clean. Proprietor was very friendly. Toilet seat is loose and (very cheap) bed lamps worked poorly and are very difficult to turn on and off. Trains rumble by about a block away all night. For the room price, the continental breakfast should have been for free. But otherwise pleasant enough. We wouldn't go...

Thanks for the comments. compared to most 4 star motels our prices are very reasonable Our continental break is not just toast and a cup of coffee. breakfast offers a large selection of fresh fruits and juices, as well as 5 different breads to choose from including home made bread. we serve barista style coffee (as many cups as you...

Great little hotel for attending weddings in the Bowral region. Small but very friendly place to stay. Rooms were a decent size and some free under ground parking available. Even though the weather was really cold, the rooms were sufficiently heated. Breakfast and dinner are available in the small attached restaurant.

Great little hotel. Room clean and warm. Bathroom well equipped. Beds very comfortable. Surprisingly quiet despite being located on a main road. Shame the other guests in next room couldn't have been more considerate. Front of house staff very friendly and helpful though.

Thanks for the kind words we really appreciate your comments It"s funny we had someone complain about our beds the other day I cant see how having Sealy posture beds is our motel could be that bad. We are very proud of our little lodge and all the little comforts we have added to make for a pleasant stay Michael

This Motel is located on a really busy road. Reception staff warm, friendly, welcoming and informative of the local area. The room was well laid out with comfortable furnishings and a good size bathroom. Our room faced the busy road and we found it quite noisy from traffic - no double glazed windows. There was also noise from the hallway...
