We arrived at Highlands Hotel lovely greeted by staff, we ordered drinks and food. I ordered the pork belly with mash, so good just melted in your mouth and crispy skin very nice, would like to have had the whole carrots though. Prices and servings where good. Great friendly staff happy to visit again soon.

We stayed in the queen room with ensuite. It was a nice large room, the hotel is in a great location, friendly staff. Really handy to be able to self-cater our breakfast with a toaster provided for our use and the in room table (with two chairs) was actually large enough for a light meal or for one person to work at. The meal we ate in house one evening was excellent (order the onion rings!). The pub closes relatively early so you aren't disturbed by bar noise. We were disapponted we weren't made aware the rooms were not serviced daily during our stay until we asked if we'd been overlooked. No wifi.

After a trying day searching for allergy safe food in Bowral, I was delighted to indulge in the bistros food. My whole party enjoyed their meals. It was coeliac safe, with plenty of options. Double points for a low histamine, dairy free, gluten free and low Fodmap option. The staff were very accommodating and happy to answer all my allergy food related questions. The steak was tender, the chips were delicious and crispy. The meal was topped off by our close seat next to the roaring fireplace. 100% happy with our experience. Owners should install lights by the entrance inside near the stairs. It was very dark entering from the street.

Nice cosy bistro dining room with fireplace and delicious, good value pub meals with generous servings and thoughtful touches like colouring in and activities for the children. Service was attentive and friendly, would recommend.

Do not stay here. The conditions were awful. The disgusting husband and wife owners made me feel like a bad person. Furthermore, it was overpriced. Do not stay there! Finally, it was dirty! They made me feel so uncomfortable and I was going through a very, very hard time. Call me stupid, but aren’t people In this business suppose to be hospitable and kind? Awful, awful people! Never stay there. Ever. Just do not do it!
