outstanding location and beautiful grounds. Room was good size, well equipped and clean. The room looks slightly dated probably because of stained wood panels and tiles. Breakfast was good and dinner in the restaurant was great. The chef is outstanding, and the dishes are very innovative. Eating in the open patio next to the pool with nice evening breeze adds to the enjoyment. Met the owner by chance and he is most gracious and a very nice fellow. All his staff seem to enjoy working for him and that shows in the service provided. This place is head and shoulders above the other motels or small hotels that we have stayed in during our two-week Victoria and NSW road trip.

Hi Ricky and thank you for taking the time to provide such wonderful feedback. It is very pleasing to know that you and your wife really enjoyed your stay here at Robyn's Nest during your trip "down under". We all very happily work as a team here and the owner is as you say, a very nice fellow and wonderful boss. We are very proud of our new restaurant and on-site Chef Desmond who is very creative with constant updates and changes to the menu keeping it an exciting and interesting dining experience. And knowing you have travelled extensively around Australia, we are thrilled your experience at Robyn's Nest was memorable which means we might see you back again soon! With kindest regards, The owner, Chef, Manager and staff at Robyn's Nest Lakeside Resort Merimbula.

I booked a two night stay for my 18th wedding anniversary and I have to say I was very happy with Robyn's Nest. Relaxed and friendly staff, delicious food & very clean accommodation. We stayed in the deluxe suite which was wonderful. We awoke to the kookaburra's and tranquil lake. Delightful spot tucked away in a private haven. Highly recommend. Only downside was the hot water. We ran out of hot water in the evening so my husband and I could not both take a shower. I hope this is fixed before we book another stay - I assume with new owners this will be attended to promptly.

Stayed in a two bedroom cabin overlooking the lake. The cabin was very well appointed. The beds were comfortable. Very serene sitting on the verandah, watching the birds and kangaroos. The sound of bell birds was delightful. There was a barbecue on the verandah too. Plenty of easy walks around the property and the grandson loved the jetty. The resort is close to town and various beaches and attractions around the area. Loved Pambula, the Merimbula main beach and the aquarium. Plenty to see and do, or just relax and enjoy the ambience. Not our first visit and won’t be our last.

We visited the region for business and stayed an extra day for pleasure ... we rented one of the cottages (No. 1) and highly recommend it - it has a direct view over the lake and is quite private. We loved the location, and the accommodation was really comfortable.

Stayed in Room 3 accessed from the guesthouse upstairs balcony. Room spacious, clean, comfortable and fresh flowers a lovely touch. Cooked breakfast currently unavailable (however tea/coffee/milk and toaster available in the room) but stay tuned for interesting updates as Robyn’s Nest has a new owner. Lakeside views from our balcony were the “jewel in the crown” of this relaxing and tranquil accommodation. Thank you to our friendly host Jason, we enjoyed our overnight stay!

The stay at Robyn's Nest has been one of the highlights of our time in Australia. Beautiful property that sits on the edge of Lake Merimbula and is only minutes away from town by car. Peaceful and serene with stunning views of the lake. We were greeted by kangaroos and a wallaby as we entered, and saw the roos again each evening as we drove out to dine. While the decor isn't modern, it is charming and fits with the location. Room was immaculately clean, spacious, quiet, and comfortable. Suzanne was a marvelous host and was eager to provide local guidance and meet any requests. So glad we chose this location for our stay!

This was the special surprise night I prepared for my wife, being our last-but-one night of a three week trip Australia. I found the place on Tripadvisor when planning the trip and decided to book. Robyn's Nest turned out to be an excellent choice indeed. Robyn's Nest is beautifully situated on its own forested grounds, with its own entry road and views of the water. Our room was at the front. with a huge balcony facing the inlet. The room itself was large, beautifully appointed and comfortable. The common area is very nicely furnished and tempting. Staying here for our last-but-one night in Australia was definitely a great decision and it was a place to be remembered. Definitely a Highlight!! Great Place!!

A lovely place close to town. The host was friendly and helpful. The two bedroom cabin we stayed in was clean and comfortable with amazing views of the lake and the bush. It had crockery, pots and supplies to make our stay easier. There was a dishwasher and washing machine. We only stayed 2 days but will be back later in the year because there is so much to see and doing the area.

Oh my goodness - this place was perfect! So close to Merimbula and yet so peaceful and quiet. Our room was very comfortable and the bathroom lovely. The decor and furniture throughout the entire guesthouse is very tasteful. Sitting in our private fernery with a drink in the evening and coffee in the morning was so relaxing - listening to the bellbirds and admiring the breathtaking view of the lake. This is easily accessible and a boardwalk leads to the facilities of Merimbula. Breakfast was delicious and the bed was great too. We will be back!

Our family stayed in one of the 2 bedroom cottages for 10 nights. The staff are extremely friendly and the grounds are lovely. It's a fantastic location right on the lake - perfect for paddle boarding. We got great use out of the pool, spa and tennis court. It's a quiet and peaceful place but only a few minutes drive into the township. The decor is slightly dated but we thought it added to the charm. We would love to return and recommend it for families
