Rooms are spacious, clean and very comfortable. We stayed in a one unit apartment, recently refurbished with a very well fitted kitchen.
Hosts Alan and Carole are so friendly and accommodating.
Best side of the lake to stay with the beach easy walking one way, the lake the other way and town centre a very pleasant 10min walk.
Great stay on a budget

We stayed in a two bedroom apartment. Apartment was well stocked witb Everything you could want. The hosts Allen & Carol really take care of the apartments and the grounds as if it was their own home. That personal touch. Grounds are delightful and also well appointed with plenty of chairs, tables, features. Pool area very nice too. Safe and good for small families too. Nice quit spot superbly located and price is reasonable. A real gem.

we stayed for 2 weeks, in 2 separate rooms, after a car breakdown extended our stay..
alan and Carol, the managers, were absolutely fantastic, from fishing advice, juggling myself and my son between rooms, and general company in the courtyard.
the rooms were great, clean, spacious, and comfortable.
close to the shops and beach, i would highly recommend staying here, and will definitely be returning

Loved Unit number two, with its rear security door. Provides a beautiful sea breeze. Great spot, one hundred and fifty meters to the lake/river or two and fifty to the surf beach. Lovely management team.

Third time staying here. Will always come back. Very friendly managers. We were welcomed with fresh scones and enough milk to have a cuppa with. (such a nice welcome.) Nice and quiet within walking distance of town. Short walk to lake or beach. Units have everything you could want.

Couldn't help out any more, made our family feel part of their family. Facilities were great, kids loved the pool. Short walk to the beach and a nice walk to the town centre, very quiet area. Will be looking to returning again

We have just had the best holiday! A friendly relaxed atmosphere where you can do as much or as little as you like. The pool & entertaining/BBQ area are fantastic - by far the best we have seen in town. There are not that many units, so it's not overcrowded.

The managers are very welcoming and have a nice level of interaction with the guests. They have created a great vibe in the place. The facilities on site have everything we need.

We stayed nearby in a flashy place last year and found it very sterile.

The location is fantastic, being in Fishpen is a short walk to the lake, beach, boardwalk & to town. There are so many activities close by that have kept our 13 year old boys fully entertained...fishing, bikes, kayak, surf etc.

Looking forward to our return next year - we have rebooked already!

We had a very happy stay in a 1 bedroom unit for a week (wish it was longer). We've stayed here a few times and one of my favourite things is to sit outside on an outdoor table and draw/paint. It's so peaceful.

When there are other folks staying, it's even more fun. I like that you can either keep to yourself or get social.

The salt water pool has to be the best and biggest in Merimbula. We swam every day, delicious.

The managers are lovely, really helpful and friendly. It's an easy walk into town and the beach is a hop, skip and jump away. Was great attending the local market and only having to walk a few minutes to get there (and the market was fantastic too). Kids playground in the nearby park - heaps for them to do.

Every evening we walked around Fishpen after dinner, and there's lots of wildlife. The resident seal was even in residence, and at other times we've seen stingrays, penguins, echidnas and other delightful creatures and birds. Top spot for birdwatchers. Happy happy.

The unit is absolutely perfect, clean as a whistle and surprisingly spacious. Kitchen has everything you'd need. I wanted scissors, there they were. A double adapter? Yes, in the drawer. Egg rings, yup. All present and accounted for.

Bathroom a tad small but we wiggled around each other and wasn't an issue. Bedroom is huge, lots of space to put bags and esky etc.

Highly recommend staying here, we really love it. This area is magic and staying here just adds to the mix.

Although we have stayed at Pambula Beach and Merimbula many times, this was our first stay at Kalindo. The unit was gorgeous - spotlessly clean, an extremely well supplied kitchen, comfortable bed - everything you could possibly want while on holiday. Close to the beach, close to the town, and close to cafes. The only thing we found hard to come to terms with was the amount of water we had to waste before the hot water would come through properly in the shower. Lovely pool big enough for lap swimming! Overall, we loved it.

Thank you for your comments. We take on board the comments about water but unfortunately because of the plumbing setup at this time this seems to be inevitable.
