We were offered a very reasonable walk in rate by the friendly host and were pleasantly surprised at the standard of accommodation. Decor was dated but rooms were very clean and well equipped. The units offer super views over the river and is an easy drive back into town. The fact that we could photograph numerous kangaroos on the back lawn was just a bonus!

My second stay and the room was once again immaculate. Clean, fresh and very comfortable bed, bedding and plenty of hot water. It is a two minute drive or 15-20 minute walk for shopping, restaurants and clubs. Friendly staff and a gorgeous view out over the lake, will stay again.

You couldn't find a better Motel in Merimbula, where kindness, consideration, and friendliness is the policy.
Very comfortable beds, good bathrooms, and a generous shower. TV, kettle, tea and coffee, fridge.
Views over the top lake and airport. Watch the seaegals sore above the lake, and kangaroos on the back lawn.
This motel is your 'Go To' accommodation in Merimbula.

Great room with a fantastic views of the top lake.The rooms are always spotless. This is the second time I stayed here and I will recommend to anyone coming to stay at Merimbula. Vicky is very friendly and always recommends places to eat and things to do.

Literally my first ever stay in the south coast and I have already fallen in love with this place. It is absolutely fantastic. Bill is very humorous and a great guide to the town. Rooms were spotlessly cleaned and has the best view.

Lovely retro motel. Vicky, the owner, is lovely. She couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful; suggested a wonderful place for drinks last night - Dulcie's Cottage - and an equally good breakfast place on the beach. The room rates are amazingly low. The view out back is spectacular. Only cost us about $10 to Uber into town.

Stayed here over the Australia Day holiday weekend and really loved it. Checkin was effeciently done by a friendly lady (I believe the owner was on holiday). The room was clean with great views of the lake to one side and the sea to the other. Our room came with a double and a single, just perfect for our family of three. The refrigerator was clean, worked perfectly and was quiet. We were expecting this motel would be booked out for the holiday weekend but was not the case. Even though the two adjoining rooms were occupied there was hardly any noise that could be heard from the neighbouring rooms at night. Location was good as well. Just a few mins drive to Merimbula town centre for the restaurants and shopping.
Would recommend visiting Tathra and Pambula beach and the town of Eden from here.
I would recommend this motel and would definately stay here again if the opportunity arose.

On our roadtrip we stopped at this motel. The service from Billy was great and very informative! Views out the back of the hotel are amazing with a great BBQ and table set up. The room was clean and contained all the basic necessities. In this room we did not have an air conditioner which would have made it an even more comfortable however there was a wall fan. All in all we were very happy with our stay!

Had an amazing stay here in Merimbula. The owner was incredibly welcoming and went out of his way to make us feel at home. The rooms were spacious and very clean with a heater for the cold nights. Amenities included like basic cookware, some tea and coffee. Great window view of some water and lovely kangaroos grazing in the fields. They were doing some work on the other rooms, so I feel this place can only get more lovely.

I hate to break the string of great reviews but we were very disappointed with our stay. It was the Easter weekend and recognizing that prices will be higher but $180 per might for the self contained unit downstairs room 19) was just not good value for money. The kitchen was well equipped - cooker, fridge, toaster, kettle, but the bed was broken, the bathroom tiny and the furnishings depressing, and there was a fair amount of noise from the motel rooms upstairs. Room 19 has no direct bay view but there is a large garden and picnic area with BBQ that does enjoy the view. We agree with everything that has been said about Bill, the owner/manager, who is incredibly friendly and helpful, but he is doing his best with a property that is tired and dated. Maybe at a heavily discounted rate we would have reacted differently but for the price we could have done a lot better
