Tasman Holiday Park - after a few attempts we decided on pitch 48 at the back of a cabin to have some protection from the wind and sun. The area for campers is adequately sized; the camper kitchen offers plenty of space and music (this also applies to the sanitary facilities). We had a very pleasant stay here and were greeted in the morning by rabbits, ducks and a purple gallinule.

It was the fist time that paid a deposit to find the nightly rate had gone up from $125 to $140. Previously other venues had increased their rates after I booked but locked mine in at the rate at booking time. The cabin was very clean and the furniture was all in good condition with a very comfortable main bed. The staff were friendly and helpful and there were a number of friendly people to mix with. A stroll of ten minutes would get you into town where a number of cafes, clubs and supermarkets could be found. This park was kept very tidy and has some great ammenities such as heated covered pool and spa, mini golf and basket ball rings

Very nice park, booked for only one night in a powdered site however ended staying two nights. Helpful staff.
Great amenities, very well priced, easy walk to town, waterfront cafe, although the first weekend of school holidays the park was very quiet

Although our Ensuite Site was good, the pricing was appalling. We were charged $99 per night (stayed 10 nights) while the people behind us who had exactly the same site were charged $55 per night. After two emails to head office and multiple phone calls, i finally rang the park direct to question the $44 a night price difference and was told that they decided to have a sale at the start of February. $10-$20 a night decrease i think is fair, but $44 a night!!!!!!! What a joke! We were not the only people there questioning the different pricing. The park owners/managers really need to know that people do talk amongst themselves when staying in caravan parks!

We stayed in this park ten years ago before it was a Tasman and unfortunately, it has been upgraded, renovated or added to since that time.
We were booked in a cabin and told we were ‘upgraded’ . We were very disappointed that the upgraded cabin was smaller than the one we had originally booked
When we walked in, there were cobwebs in the bathroom and toilet, the doors and walls were chipped , Cleary no care about presentation.
The water went off twice when we were there.
Can’t play mini golf after 5pm - which is ridiculous in the summer
Months.
The bbq has been taken off our balcony, no replacement.
Office staff seem ‘over it’. Such a shame cause it’s a great location .
Would def stay at NRMA Merimbula instead

Location is not to bad close - to supermarkets and the centre of Merimbula. However you have to drive to the beach. We had a camping site which was a fairly good size. Unfortunatley the amenities needed to be cleaned more frequently given the amount of usage they were getting. Also check in is electronic, which is a bit painful when the emails for registration, codes etc go into the spam folder. Good park if you travel with dogs, and also good facilities for kids with pool, jumping pillow etc

This is our first stay at this park and we're almost mid way into a 4 week stay on a powered site. We've heard only positive word of mouth feedback but so far everything has exceeded our expectations. Managers & staff so obliging and super friendly, lush grassed sites and grounds so well maintained, amenities kept clean throughout the day, huge camp kitchen, pancakes twice weekly & sausage sizzle on Fridays (very Covid observant), communal fire pit on Sunday, mini golf, all weather pool, and it goes on. Short walk into town and Merimbula Lake. Big bins never overflowing & seem to be checked daily, very reasonable rates. This is in stark contrast to our previous go to park in Merimbula. No tensions and noone seems to have anything but positive to say while we've been here which confirms all the recommendations. Very quiet, mostly grey nomads, a few roos late afternoon and bellbirds providing a backdrop of sound all day. Will definitely make this our new annual Summer destination.

We have stayed at Sapphire Beach on numerous occasions with our caravan but on this occasion we decided to avail ourselves of a holiday apartment Cabin 11. This proved to be extremely lovely, was spotlessly clean and a very quiet location. Great nights sleep and a very welcome treat in the afternoon with a lovely glass of port. ( Very nice gesture.) We could not fault the location and cabin at all. The staff very obliging and professional in every way. We enjoyed our stay and will return..
Keep up the good work all and we will see you again soon.
P.S... Just a small note to the ladies servicing the apartment when cleaning the room slide the main door closed and clean the lower track. Obviously the room was cleaned whilst the doorway was left open. Just a small mention but if not brought to your attention then you would not be aware of it.
Regards Ian & Wendy.

Run down and needing a big refreshment. The photos I saw on the site must have been of the newer ones, as the one I had felt like it had been here for 30 years and was needing major upgrading. Ok the positives, great friendly staff, great facilities on site. But the cabin I was in, 1990 here I come ! old worn tired , holes in curtains, the bathroom didn't have a nice smell, (it actually smelt like a public urnial, I had to keep the door shut at all times...not good at all, the rooms don't have washing machines, dryers, and dishwashers, and its over 200 bucks a night ??? It feels like an old caravan , for the price I expected better. Unless you get a new ones I would ask to make sure you cabin is NEW.

Hi, yes we are 500m from the main centre of Merimbula. Clubs, supermarket, restaurants and shops are an easy walk. Club Sapphire is located across the road from us.
Yes! Easily :-)
