Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Disappointed with our stay. Seabreeze cabin was dirty and outdated. We paid extra to upgrade for the night and were disappointed when we got into our cabin. It was old, outdated and stained. The walls, curtains and lounge were all stained. For nearly $200 a night it’s definitely not worth it.

This park is amazing!! The van sites were green and lush, surprising due to lack of rain in the area, the amenities were spotless and beautifully appointed, friendly staff and the facilities such as the pool, playground and water park (even though we didnt use any of those!) make this park a fantastic family destination. The biggest plus for my husband and I (and our 2 big fur babies) was the amazing views of the ocean from nearly every vantage point. Next time we are in Merimbula, this will be our go-to place to stay.

I love this place and have stayed many times. As a bonus it is dog friendly and the staff are really accommodating. Caravan sites are generous and the ground staff work hard to keep the place looking great. Clean amenities and a short walk to an absolutely stunning beach!

This is very much a family friendly park but we managed to find a little spot that was superb for a romantic getaway. We opted for the “Glamping” and it was wonderful. Our oasis was perched up on the hill and overlooked the waters of Merimbula. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the internal amenities were excellent. There’s also a bath and bbq on the deck. We loved it!

Check in - asked to wait, despite both Receptionists being free. Cold welcome, when they processed the $$, got a vague welcoming smile. My kids subsequently have visited Reception to politely ask for pool towels, and were met with below average responses from the same staff member- rude tbh. Cabin - Average- absolutely no WI-FI AT ALL, the light in bathroom broken, so many scuff marks on walls - needs a deep clean and an overhaul. Facilities - Pool closed, we were not informed. Lots of trades and deliveries opposite our cabin every day, means random blokes hanging around our cabin, staring in at times. Blinds had to be shut 24/7. Waterpark was confirmed to be 29 degrees, it was not. Overall assessment - we drove 8 hours to get here, spent $700 for 4 nights, and the overall experience of other Merimbula businesses, and staff has been absolutely phenomenal. It’s such a brilliant town to visit, and there’s plenty of other accommodations to choose from in town, that will value your business.

This was a really central place to base ourselves while we took a break in the South Coast. The amenities are clean and a great place to meet other people while you cook dinner. Our only disappointments were that our site had a bit of a slope across it and it was hard (impossible) to balance the van. Also we were up the top of the park which put us a fair way from the pools etc. Still a great place to stay. I’d definitely be keen to revisit.

Merimbula Beach Holiday Resort is A+. We spent 4 days in a Condo. The view was amazing. The Resort is well maintained. Condo very clean, comfortable bed, and all the kitchen essentials required. The Resort was very quiet. Children playing and riding bikes but very considerate noise wise. I highly recommend and we will return with our van.

This park is the best holiday spot, this is the second time we’ve visited and we love it. The views of the beach and ocean are gorgeous, the facilities are great, the pool and slides are a hit with the family. The kids love the park and the go karts that are available to hire and the craft room is a nice option especially in rainy weather.

What a great caravan park we spent 8 days here in our caravan plenty to do and within walking distance to Merimbula town centre…although a bit of a hill into it. The park was very well maintained and quiet. We took our bikes and found some beautiful bike tracks around town. Great if you have kids. Def recommend staying 👍

We booked 6 nights in a Beachcomber Villa. We landed in Villa 1 which was the furthest back so the views were nowhere near what they’d be in Villa 3 or 4. If you specifically want that view from the photos then request one of those ones. The villa was well proportioned for our little family of 4. The kids bedroom gets very warm and the fan isn’t great but the rest of the villa was well ventilated and breezy thanks to the elevation of the villa itself. The deck was lovely to sit and have meals. We didn’t sit indoors to eat at all. There was a card left stating our villa had been cleaned by 3 people…it wasn’t the best with a dirty bin lid, messy cupboards, and some sort of caked stains on the kids bedsheets but we put this down to a busy Jan season. Having shaded parking under the villa was a huge plus however a downside is a noisy road out back. The early rises of 5am heading to the beach is loud in the bedrooms. Our kids are up early so not much of an impact to us but if you like a lie in that could be an issue. The park had great facilities like the kids club, splash park and tennis court. I loved the additions of pizza night, fairy floss and doughnut vans visiting. The pool is advertised as heated. Apparently it used to be but 2yrs ago the heating broke and it’s very expensive to fix. We were lucky and visited in good weather but I’d be disappointed if I thought I was getting a heated pool in sub par weather and ended up with that. Also the advertised on-site cafe is closed and has been for some time. Wasn’t an issue for us and you can walk down the hill to a coffee van which is there most of the day. Good coffee too. We’d stay again but I think I’d look at one of the clifftop condos next time.
