The shower was really quite good! The bathroom is quite old and damp though. Bring your own towels and pillows. Would be hard to sleep in hot weather
We found friendly service in the office.
You get what you pay for
Premises was generally pretty clean , rooms are basic but generally pretty clean.
Walls are thin and ended up being a major problem for the evening. The motel was not full however the management decided to place everyone in the rooms side by side instead of spacing guests out throughout the entire motel complex. Unfortunately had a rather drug affected group of 3 persons inhabit the room next wo us whom stayed up all night long with the TV loud , slamming their door open and shut and yelling all night long. Got zero sleep , i know this isnt the fault of the motel management , however it should be pointed out the walls are very thin and you will hear your neighbours.
Otherwise it was clean and close to town and had a view of the bay and ocean to the distance in the room we were in.
The room was a basic motel room but was spotlessly clean with clean, crisp white sheets. We both enjoyed a good nights sleep.
We would definitely stay here again. It was very good value without spending a fortune.
I was a little peeved off as the parking to this hotel was quiet small and you were not specifically allocated a spot either as most times I had to fight with other stayers to move there cars and park them straight so we could all get to park at least near our room.
There was no iron or ironing board in the rooms. Place was very old. I would not stay there again. For $110 per night I have stayed in much more modern hotel/motels.

That appears to be the case with this Motel, unfortunately they have not achieved modern means of heating or cooling. The Electric Strip Heater above the bed might be effective but the Ceiling Fan although cooling was too noisy for a person to sleep.
Proprietors of these old Motels need to determine when to progressively gut the rooms and slip into the 21st century with modern facilities rather than milk the maximum profit.
They should also spend a night in each room to determine where cleaning and repairs are necessary.
My overnight room was quite ordinary and I would not like to stay in it if the ambient temperature was 40 degrees.
Yes you get what you pay for.
This is your typical budget, country town hotel/motel so don't have high hopes.
The lady at reception was friendly but my only interaction with her was checking in and out which was very quick.
I didn't have a look to see if there were any facilities such as a pool and just dumped my gear and went out to have a look around the quaint town that was overrun with tourists.
The room was basic but roomy~ish but didn't have airconditioning (luckily the room didn't get too hot and they did have a ceiling fan). The reception on the tv was bad, really bad. Not 1 channel was watchable...The fridge didn't work but at least the sheets were clean and the place was quiet.
For a quick one night stay, it's a cheap and tolerable option. You get what you pay for...altough i did pay $120 for the night. If you can book ahead of time there are probably a few dozen better options.
I didn't have much interaction with staff at all, nor did I hear any street noise for the 2 nights I was there, and I didn't use the pool as I went to the beach instead, so I can't comment much else on those.
