Very large rooms in a quiet location Room was spotless and had good block out curtains for a good nights sleep. Handy to main town just a short walk to shops and eateries. This was a good stopover on our way up north and I would happily return and recommend accommodation to others.

Stayed in December19 and again in early January Clean , comfortable room and a clean bathroom. Friendly staff Good stopping point if driving from Sydney to Brisbane/Gold Coast Another positive for me choosing this motel was that pets are not allowed but they refer people to a pet place nearby. I like animals but due to allergies I don’t want to sleep in a room where dogs and cats may have stayed.

My daughter and I drove to Brisbane to see family and took the opportunity when returning to Sydney to stay at the Mandarin Motel. On arrival we were quickly and warmly greeted by Meiling. I am delighted to say that as per another review the motel was absolutely spotless and a credit to both the owners and their staff. The motel was a short walk to the RSL Club and two pubs - great for dinner and a glass of wine after a 5 hour drive. I have strongly recommended to my sister that she and our mother should stay there on their upcoming trip as there are rooms on the ground floor, together with a disabled parking spot, for those people who need additional assistance. The motel has two spacious, ground floor rooms for people with physical disability. The rooms have easy access from the car with a slight ramp rather than a step into them. The rooms were very clean, had a table and chairs, lounge chairs and the beds comfortable. The bathrooms have grab rails and shower chairs were provided. Our hosts were lovely and happy to help. We will stay again and recommend it highly to others.

We had a really big room with plenty of space for our bags. The bathroom was big and had space for our toiletries. This motel is in a great location where restaurants are within walking distance. It is clean and well looked after. Parking is undercover and a Tesla charger was also available at no charge, which is why we chose to stay.

Stayed here for one night whilst travelling. Great service upon check in. Got our keys head to our room all we wanted was a hot shower after 12 hours of driving. Cold water. Was dreading the morning shower luckily it was like warm by morning so wasn’t the worst. Lounge in room filthy crumbs everywhere. Was allocated a room that has a interconnecting door. People next door had there light on all night with screaming kids. Wasn’t the most pleasant place to stay. But if you just need a bed it will do.

Lovely country motel. Our car broken down late Friday night and we called the motel for some emergency accommodation. Meiling and Jason were very helpful even putting a trundle bed in the room for us and staying at reception until 11:30pm when we checked in. The beds were very comfortable and the room was well maintained and clean. It was a lovely surprise they have mini bar in the rooms and have breakfast available (although we found it a little pricy)

We rang direct, and got a small discount as I said we'll pay cash. Price varies from day to day, and we paid $155 for a Saturday night.
The owner/manager was friendly and asked whether upstairs was ok, which it was. He gave us room 20, which was huge and overlooked the street as well as having a side view window. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, there was a 2 seater settee close to the TV, the usual tea, coffee but no biscuits. No plates, bowls, etc, if you're self-catering for b'fast. Didn't need aircon, so I can't comment.
The bathroom was very large, but the shower head was small. Everything was spotless and very quiet, so we slept soundly. An added plus is the undercover parking, which would have been an added bonus had it been wet. We'll definitely stay again when passing through, and eat at the great little country club, 2.7 klm away. See my seperate review.

A very comfortable clean stay affording us a relaxing break. The room was very spacious & nicely appointed. The complex is quiet & has all the charm of an older establishment. I loved how the shower didn't leak all over the bathroom floor - amazingly this seems rare. The hosts are very friendly.

Highly recommend Mandarin Motel. Meiling was friendly and super helpful when we were stuck for accommodation on our last minute road trip to Sydney. She went over and beyond to make out stay comfortable. The family room was big enough for 4 of us and and also included a kitchenette with everything we needed to cook our own breakfast. Quiet neighbourhood, a clean room and a comfy bed gave us a peaceful sleep 11/10
