Stayed for six nights at Somerset Apartments. Great location being near lagoon beach and easy walk to Ned's beach. Nearby Anchorage cafe great spot for coffee, yummy muffins and great salad rolls for lunch. Stayed in 2 bedroom apartment which was perfect for the three of us with two separate bedrooms plus lounge/kitchen. Best part was the great verandah to...

The perfect self contained unit close to everything the island has to offer - the lagoon, Ned's Beach, walking tracks, cafes, restaurants, grocery stores and all stores that you would like to visit when on the island. Fabulous staff and a very clean establishment made our holiday even more enjoyable,

We stayed at Somerset Apts in a standard 1 bedroom for a week and couldn't have been happier. It is basic but clean, comfortable and all you need on this beautiful island paradise. After all, you only go back to your room at night. I asked for an electric frypan so with the microwave, that was all we needed. This...

We have just come back from a 6 night stay in Lord Howe Island. This charming, quaint and literally unspoiled destination was just dreamy. If you are attached to your Phone, Tablet, PC or any other device that requires WiFi or phone coverage, then the options are very limited. The only WiFi is available at the museum, for a price...

We stayed at Somerset on a 5-night package. The unit was roomy and comfortable with an ample supply of towels, including beach towels. The kitchenette had a microwave oven and we were able to borrow an electric frypan and use the gas barbeque for cooking along with crockery for four people. The venue is easy walking distance from the lagoon...

Stayed at Somerset for 5 nights. We had a superior apartment which had everything we needed. It was clean but did smell a bit fishy for a few days! The apartments are within easy walking distance to Anchorage restaurant/bakery and Ned's Beach and they are located at the bottom of the hill.Great base to see Lord Howe.

Great self contained units. Have microwave for cooking but you can borrow an electric fry pan or use the b-b-q. Good Eco thinking used in the units and throughout the island. Very easy stroll to Thompsons store, the Co -op or Joys for supplies. Bus to various restaurants and then the venue has return buses. Staff leave you to enjoy...

My husband and I stayed in one of these apartments last June for a week. We received a friendly welcome at the airport, then given a brief drive around a couple of the popular places to get our bearings before being taken to our accommodation. Although we had scanned the coloured brochure well before booking and were expecting this accommodation...

We stayed in Somerset because we were getting special deals. It is nice room with huge en-suite. The bathroom is pretty much same size as the room. It has a kitchen with microwave, couple of pans. You can ask for electric pan from the reception. Lord Howe Island being an Island eating food at restaurants for breakfast, lunch & dinner...

I stayed here with some friends, Somerset Apartments are located very close to the 'CBD' (ha, ha). So it's great to get to a couple of the shops, the island phone, lagoon and Neds beach. It's also just up a gentle slope so no heart-attack hill involved. The units are clean and comfortable - don't expect the latest fixtures and...
