Basic, air conditioned accommodation with comfortable beds. Clean and tidy, regularly serviced, friendly and helpful staff made our stay a dream. No cooking in the room but plenty of options to eat at or takeaway. We will be back.
Stayed 3 nights. Nice, clean and comfortable. Plenty of hot water. Shower a bit confusing with red and blue flashing lights and whole of bathroom gets a wet floor. Fan and air conditioning keeps up with the heat (just). Beds super comfy and staff lovely. Was not impressed with bistro menu so didn’t try it.
What a lovely motel! My husband and I very much enjoyed our 3 night stay. We ticked Lightning Ridge off our bucket list, what a special town. So much to do and see within walking distance. Bed was comfortable and the room was very clean. After travelling around the outback for the past few months, we found this motel to be above average.
To say i am appalled is an understatement!!! 500 bucks for 2 nights accomadation for my grandfathers funeral after a 15hr drive, to be greeted by a filthy room, at 730pm. Carpets dirty, bathrooms gross I wore my rubber thongs in the shower!! But the worst was yet to come We got back to the motel at 10pm and got into bed. My daughter layed in her bed and got back up to use toilet, when she went to get back in bed she found BLOOD on her sheets!!!!! 🤮 The only good experience was they refunded my full amount of 500..
The rooms were very dated, and the towels were discoloured, the mosquitos were horrendous. We have no idea how they were getting in as we kept shutting all windows and doors. The lady that checked us in was extremely friendly and knowledgeable of the town. Glad we visited but probably won’t be rushing back.
