A simple, but very nicely appointed queen bed room with a super-comfortable bed which gave us a great night's sleep.

The Mariner is on the main street heading into the Laurieton shopping area, yet it was so quiet that we didn't hear any traffic noise at all. A very clean, fresh bedroom and bathroom with separate toilet, a microwave and an excellent small but surprising two-door fridge in the living area with its separate freezer, unlike most motels which usually have a miniscule freezer contained in the fridge space.

Mark, our host, was very welcoming and friendly, who kindly accommodated our early check-in so we could freshen up upon our arrival after a long drive before we headed off to a funeral service.
The motel is in a good location, allowing an easy relaxed stroll to restaurants, a pub, a club, a broad range of shops, Coles and the cinema.

This was a great little motel. I was so pleased with the high standard of cleanliness, comfortable bed and the parking outside each individual room makes for easy packing and unpacking. The room has a microwave which is always good to heat up leftovers later in the night and providing Netflix was a great touch. I think we’ll definitely be staying at this friendly hotel when visiting Laurieton from now on.

This small motel in the pretty coastal town of Laurieton offers an affordable safe haven in these difficult pandemic times.

The beds are comfortable, amenities are plentiful and the quiet location near shops and restaurants makes it a good place to stay. The young couple managing the property are welcoming and good at their work.

Needed a clean and efficient place for 4-5 days close to family. We got exactly what we needed...spotless, showers and hot water were great, simple yet comfortable with real friendly people at a location in close walking distance to everything in town.

We definitely will be back when the opportunity arises again.

This was our third stay as we try to factor the property into our itinerary when driving to the far north coast. This would have to be the best motel on the route north.

Whilst it is an older property it has been tastefully refurbished and has the biggest fridges for a motel which has a separate freezer which is useful if you are carrying perishable supplies.

It is in a handy location close to shops and walking distance to the local club.

The property and grounds are spotless and the little extra touches such a bottled water, guest BBQ and windscreen washing station show the care and attention the owners take to ensure a pleasant stay.

This was our fifth stay as we travel north at this time each year.
We have stayed in hundreds of similar properties all over the east coast and this one would have to be the best. Even though the building is not new it is very well maintained and the interiors would rate with many 4 star hotel rooms. Décor is extremely tasteful with little extra touches such as bottled water and crisp linen. There is also a small 2-door fridge which is great for travellers.
Outside is a lovely BBQ area which is extremely clean as was the room.
The owners and operators of this place are to be congratulated on the standard of presentation and service.
The room rate was excellent value but I believe the room to be worth more.
Laurieton itself is a very tidy town with an abundance of restaurants very close to the motel.
I would thoroughly recommend to anyone needing accommodation around this area.

This is a basic old-fashioned motel with rooms in a row like terrace housing. The owners were friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean, the bed comfortable. We tried the air-conditioning and it worked well. Parking for a car is outside your room. Other vehicles can easily park on the street. There was a kettle, toaster, microwave, basic crockery and cutlery, tea, coffee, sugar sachets and biscuits provided.

Tamara & Andrew are super friendly, welcoming and very customer focussed hosts. The Mariner Hotel is always very clean, well maintained and has comfortable beds. Has the extras of free WIFI, toaster, bowls and plates so that you can cook your own breakfast if needed. Great location walking distance to shops, cafes. We always stay here for our stopover when we drive Brisbane to Sydney and will continue to do so.

I had a break away in the lovely coastal town of Laurieton. Stayed at the Mariner Motel which was very clean and comfortable. They had just installed new air conditioners which are super quiet, the room had every thing I needed with a delicious breakfast to my room. The owners were very helpful and knowledgeable about the area with everything in walking distance. Will be back soon

The location is perfect. It's only a short stroll to all that Laurieton has to offer, the restaurants, pub, RSL club and shopping.
The room was very clean and well maintained and the staff very friendly. Its so close to town but also very quiet so a pleasant nights sleep is guaranteed.
The room had all the basics needed to have a continental breakfast with an outdoor table and chairs for you to relax on.
Your car also has a dedicated spot outside your room and there was ample room for the larger vehicles in those spots.

Room Tip: Rooms 8 to 12 would be furthest from the road, not that the road is busy anyway.
