Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is a small motel with comfortable beds. The owner is nice and accommodating but seems to treat everyone like they're trying to rip her off. Some bad past experiences maybe? The one incredibly odd thing and a big negative for us was there is no door to the shower! There is a door to the toilet so at least you can go there in peace, but if you want a shower without anyone being able to see you, you'd have to ask them to leave the room! I probably wouldn't stay there again as it that was quite inconvenient.

On the southern approach to Kyogle, two minutes from town, close to the Hospital.
Our room had a queen size bed + two singles, flat screen TV + Foxtel & a large ensuite, The cupboards were adequate some hangers supplied. A bench & 4 chairs in the room & an outdoor setting at the front. Easy parking. A Vietnamese lady runs the motel and she goes out of her way to make your stay a good one. A great short stay, 1 to 4 nights.

Clean, comfortable bed, wifi, foxtel and very good evening meal. The owners are a nice couple who are always helpful. Mobile phone coverage is ok in the carpark but drops in and out in the room. Can reccommend.

Having stayed here before it was good to see the same owners still managing it. Have always found him to be very nice and pleasant. It was a very busy weekend and thecmotel was booked right up but they manage to put us in thier bigger accomadation house which was so great it felt like home.

Simple and comfortable, with Foxtel, free wifi, welcoming and friendly staff/management...couldn't ask more from short term accommodation! We paid (an extra $10) for the 'deluxe' room and definitely would not fault it. They even offer a room service menu for breakfast and dinner. Would reccommend to anyone staying in the area.

My second stay at the Kyogle Motel, but this time with friends so we booked the 3 rooms at the back, quiet pleasant space outside to gather under the awning, comfortable basic rooms, bit dated but good value, clean & functional with a reasonable price. Reception woman friendly & helpful, even offered to drive us to the Golf Club where we were going for an event (the annual 'Stan Monroe Show' - well worth it!).

The motel is a cheaper alternative to the Kyogle Country Inn across the road (apparently managed by the same person) but we couldn't fault our overnight stay in one of the rooms at the back of the motel. Comfortable bed and good shower, with plenty of space in the room and outside seating as well.

I called to book accommodation for my family ( 4 kids and 1 adult ) for my Grandma's funeral and the owner said they couldn't accommodate my family as my three siblings are above the age of 13 years and she assumed they were going to be partying! Unbelievable, bad customer service and I wouldn't recommend this place at all

This motel is aged and badly in need of being revamped. The rooms are drab and dirty. There is no separate door for the shower. Around the shower base is dirty and has not been cleaned for considerable time. Noise can be a problem, especially from very early of a morning. There are no biscuits provided for a cuppa. There is no soap etc provided.
Lighting is poor. The air conditioners are very old. There are no electric blankets.
